Various women shone Golden Globes during the 72nd annual award show Sunday. Maggie Gyllenhaal spoke for women after winning best actress in a mini-series for The Honorable Woman. Jane the Virgin' star Gina Rodriguez was so shocked by her win that she cried while giving her winning speech. Another win was by Julianne Moore for 'Still Alice,' for which she took home the best actress in a motion picture award.

The men were also represented as Kevin Spacey has just won the Golden Globes for the very first time, though he was as unemotional as Frank Underwood, the role that got him the win. Whether married or dating, I think it's something worth noting when couples can show off their partners in public, and all other things aside, it shows pride in the relationship and that they consider each other to be their first cheerleaders.
