Mom of Orekoya Children Weeps As Deadline For Ransom Passes & Kids Still Missing [Video]

Today makes it 5 days since 11 months old Aderomola Orekoya and his older brothers, Adedamola Orekoya, 4, and Demola Orekoya, 6, were kidnapped by a newly employed nanny from their home. Some days after the kidnapping, the kidnappers contacted the family to ask for a N13million ransom within 2 days or they will loose their kids forever.

The heartbroken and tearful mother says they can not afford that amount in this emotional video that just emerged today. Woman Died After Childbirth At Eko Hospital Due to Negligence - Petition

A few days ago, the death was reported of Dolapo Adesanya, who had passed away after a complicated delivery at Eko Hospital in Lagos. Many blamed the hospital for what they called an avoidable death. A petition was even started which has received over 1,300 signatures as at today. The petition stated that negligence by Staff of Eko Hospital, Lagos resulted in the death of Dolapo Adesanya, and called on the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria to sanction the Hospital.

A friend of the family who was close the events leading up to Dolapo's death wrote an article questioning the ethics of the hospital and calling for an investigation of what he termed negligence. #JodiArias Sentenced To Life In Prison Without Parole For Boyfriend's Murder

#JodiArias was arrested in 2008 after the graphic murder of her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander, and has now been sentenced to life in prison without parole, after a long and difficult legal process. The judge called the crime "especially cruel" during the sentencing in court today. Alexander's body was discovered in his Arizona, home with a shot in the head and stabbed nearly 30 times. His throat had been cut from ear to ear.

Arias first said she had not been present when he was murdered, then when DNA proved she was lying, she said there had been a home invasion by two unknown killers. She finally admitted to the heinous act during the trial, with her lawyers claiming that Travis Alexander was a violent womanizer, and that she had killed him in self-defense during a domestic argument.
