Joan Rivers Out Of Intensive Care - Daughter Asks For Prayers

Joan Rivers' daughter, Melissa Rivers has provided another update about her mother's condition in a new statement, released Wednesday, Sept. 3. She says the 81-year-old comedienne has been transferred to a private room at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. The statement reads;

My mother has been moved out of intensive care and into a private room where she is being kept comfortable. Thank you for your continued support." 

Melissa had said in a statement a couple of days earlier;

"My mother would be so touched by the tributes and prayers that we have received from around the world. Her condition remains serious but she is receiving the best treatment and care possible. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts as we pray for her recovery."

Third American Doctor To Contract Ebola Identified As Rick Sacra

The third American to have contracted Ebola has been named as 51-year-old veteran doctor Rick Sacra who volunteered to go to Liberia when Writebol and Brantly tested positive. Bruce Johnson, the president of SIM USA, revealed this in a press conference yesterday.

Johnson said his group was cooperating with US health authorities to determine how Sacra, who is from Massachusetts, got sick.

While stressing there was no confirmation at this time, Johnson said there was a chance Sacra — who had been working in obstetrics at the SIM-funded ELWA hospital — caught the virus from someone who had yet to show signs of the disease.

“They check patients at our hospital before admittance for Ebola symptoms and there’s a strong possibility that the Ebola symptoms were masked and not presenting themselves with a particular patient who was admitted and cared for and possibly this was how Dr Sacra contracted it.”

Jennifer Lawrence’s attorney is reportedly locked in a battle with bosses of an adult content website over the copyright of leaked intimate photographs of the actress.

Remember the monkey selfie and the debate over who owns pictures? Is it the person in the picture, the person who owns the camera, or the person who took the pictures? Many argue it is the person who took the pictures unless he has signed over his rights.

Unfortunately for 24-year-old actress, Jennifer Lawrence, one site featuring nude images stolen from her phone and leaked online is fighting back against a request to remove the illegally obtained photos using that very argument.

Contact of Port Harcourt Ebola Victim Dies at Treatment Center

Another person has died today who contracted the Ebola virus disease from Dr. Iyke Enemuo who had died of Ebola disease on August 22 after treating an Ecowas official.

As the Rivers State Government is planning to burn the corpse of Doctor Iyke Enemuo, it has been announced that one of his primary contacts has also died of the Ebola Virus Disease.

Dan Nwomeh, Special Assistant to the Minister of Health on Media and Communication, confirmed  the death today in a series of tweets updating Nigerians on the status of the disease earlier today.

Dr Enemuo's wife, Mrs. Enemuo is still being treated at the Ebola Isolation Center in Lagos. She has a 3-month-old baby who is being cared for by relatives, also in Lagos.

Tatler, the British high society magazine who published the article, described these Nigerians as having billionaire parents, boarding school credentials and private jet passes, and the picture above of Rotimi was included in the article.

So, I can't imagine how Business Insider now erroneously listed DJ Xclusive, whose real name is also Rotimi Alakija, as the son of Folorunso Alakija.

In an article listing the World’s Hottest Billionaire Offspring, the picture and bio of DJ Xclusive is featured alongside Sofia Abramovich of Chelsea FC, Vanisha Mittal, Ivana Trump, and others.

I'm sure there are a lot of Rotimi Alakijas, but if the writer of the article had done proper research, or had reached out to DJ Xclusive, they would've avoided this gaffe.

Woman Caught Shoplifting Abandons Baby To Escape With $86 Worth of Items

A woman suspected of robbing a Walmart is also accused of abandoning her 1-year-old niece while she escaped.

Djuna M. Tansmore, 48, was arrested Thursday in Rostraver Township after store surveillance video caught her allegedly attempting to exit the store with $86.58 worth of laundry detergent and Miracle Whip in a grocery cart.

When the store's loss prevention officer approached Tansmore, she tried to undo the safety strap that held her niece to the cart.

Rostraver Township Police Chief Greg Resetar told WTAE TV that's when the struggle over the baby in the car seat began. When she couldn't remove her, the suspect allegedly fled the scene, leaving the toddler behind.

Another American Doctor Tests Positive For Ebola in Liberia

Another American missionary doctor has tested positive for Ebola in Monrovia, Liberia; making him the third American health care worker to contract the virus. The name of the doctor, who worked for the Christian aid group SIM, has not been released.

However, the group said in a statement that he did not treat Ebola patients. Instead, he saw obstetrics patients at the organization's main ELWA hospital, which is separate from its Ebola isolation unit. How he became infected is unknown.

The doctor isolated himself at the onset of symptoms and is currently being treated at the isolation facility, according to the group. They added that he is "doing well and is in good spirits."

Pastor Chris & Anita Oyakhilome’s Wedding Picture Released As Lawyers Say No To Reconciliation

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his wife, Anita Oyakhilome are above pictured on their wedding day more than 20 years ago. Those sympathetic to Pastor Chris released the picture to remind Pastor Anita of better times in hopes that she will reconsider the divorce.

She reportedly became a born-again Christian at the Believers Loveworld Campus Fellowship, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma where Chris was still a pastor in the late 1980s. Supposedly, he has remained her one and only spiritual guide and mentor since their marriage until recently when things fell apart and she filed for divorce.

However, when City People Magazine contacted Pastor Anita’s lawyers, Attwaters Jameson Hill Solicitors, a UK-based full-service law firm, their spokesperson said there were not anticipating a reconciliation.

I think the photoshoot was done that last time Kim wore a blond wig, HERE, but I don't think this is her first time of going fully nude for a magazine.
