Ashlee Simpson tied the knot with Evan Ross on Sunday in a short but sweet ceremony at the Connecticut home of the groom's mother, singing legend Diana Ross.
The bohemian-style wedding mixed traditional and eclectic elements that showcased the couple's commitment to family and fun.
The bride, 29, skipped a traditional wedding gown in favor of a crop top, lace skirt and Neil Lane jewelry (the groom, 26, wore Dolce and Gabbana) but stuck to traditional yet meaningful vows during the ceremony, which Diana officiated.
Ashlee Simpson tapped son Bronx, 5, to walk her down the aisle, while her big sister, Jessica Simpson – also a newlywed – served as matron of honor.

Jessica's kids, Maxwell, 2, and Ace, 1, served as flower girl and ring bearer, respectively. A choir sang "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" at the end of the ceremony.
Afterward, nobody seemed happier for the newlyweds than the former Supreme, who serenaded them with her 1981 hit, "Endless Love."
"When Diana got up to sing at the reception, she surprised everyone, even her kids!" a source says. "She was the only one on the dance floor and everyone rushed to see her."
