Genevieve tagged the picture of her in a simple blue thin-strapped floral gown with black cardigan "#aboutthismoment. #4thOfJuly". She's obviously at home with friends and has little or no make up on.

What I want to know is, who is that mystery man in the picture? Genny, do you want to tell us something?

Meanwhile, her picture is causing some controversy among her fans, some of whom don't think Nigerians should be marking the US Independence day when they don't live in America. Others came to her defense, saying there's nothing wrong with it.

Joan Rivers Says President Obama is Gay, And Michelle Obama a Transgender

I understand about freedom of speech and all that but sometimes lines are crossed, and I think this is one of those times. Either Joan Rivers pleads senility on account of her age or she may be liable for libel!

The TV host of Fashion Police was in New York recently for a bookstore appearance, and was asked some questions about when she had officiated an impromptu gay wedding between two of her fans. The reporter then asked her if she thought the US would ever see a gay president.

Joan Rivers replied: "We already have it with Obama, so let’s just calm down.”

As she started walking away, 81 year old Rivers added: “You know Michelle is a tranny.”

When asked to confirm what she said, Joan Rivers responded: “A transgender. We all know.”

Hi-Five Singer Russell Neal Charged With Murder in Wife’s Death

Russell Neal of 90s boy band Hi-Five has been charged with murder after his wife was found dead in their apartment in Houston on Thursday. Hi-Five was an R&B group known for their popular song, “I Like the Way (Kissing Game)”.

The 39-year-old Russell Neal walked into the Harris County Sheriff Department building, and told officers that his wife was dead in their apartment. He also reportedly said he needed a lawyer.

According to reports, police officers are said to have forced themselves into the apartment, and found his 24-year-old wife Catherine Martinez lying dead under a blanket on the living room floor. Martinez suffered multiple stab wounds and blunt force trauma.

NFL player Reggie Bush used to date Kim Kardashian but is now with fiancée Lilit Avagyan and they hae a little cutie daughter, baby Briseis Avagyan Bush.

The Nigerian army has arrested 3 women who worked as undercover operatives for Boko Haram, recruiting widows and young women in the north to join the women wing of the terrorist organisation.

These operatives usually promise the women they talk to that they will get married to young men who are members of the Boko Haram group.

Father Who Left Toddler To Die In Hot Car Sexted 6 Women That Day, Including a Teenager

The Georgia father accused of leaving his 22-month-old son in a hot car for seven hours to let him die reportedly spent the day sending sexual text messages and photos to six different women, including teenagers.

Harris told police that he forgot to drop his son off at day care and the boy was left in the hot car for the entire day. That day, Harris was exchanging sexts with various women while his son was trapped in the vehicle.

Harris has now been charged with murder and child cruelty for the death of his 22-month-old son Cooper.

On Thursday, 33-year-old Justin Ross Harris was denied bond after the judge called his crime a “possible death penalty case.”

Mother Of Three Abandons Her Beautiful Children To Marry Violent Prisoner She Met Online

A mother of three is leaving her three children in their father’s care in the United Kingdom to move to Texas to marry a convicted gang member that she met online.

According to reports, 29-year-old Jennifer Butler, pictured above, is leaving her children, who are all younger than 10, to move in with 23-year-old Chris Mosier if he is paroled this September.

“Some people might think I’m bonkers for falling in love with a prisoner,” Butler said. “And not everyone will agree with our relationship. But Chris is a wonderful man. Sure, he made a few mistakes in the past, but everybody deserves a second chance.”

Butler first contacted Mosier in July of 2011 when she found his profile on pen pal website writeaprisoner.com.

Photos of 2 Gay Dads Crying as They Meet Their New Born For the First Time Go Viral

A photographer was on hand to capture the emotional moment two gay dads met their son for the first time. The photographer Lindsay Foster, shared the photo on their Facebook page, writing;

"I had the opportunity to photograph this amazing birth on June 27 for a surrogate and two expecting and anxious daddies. Hours were spent with them in the hospital room while the surrogate mom was laboring and I got to know them quite well.They are two compassionate people who felt all the emotions that every new parent feels. They asked all appropriate questions of the birthing mom and the midwife and educated themselves as best as they could for their son's arrival. I am so proud of these two dads."

The pictures were liked over 6,000 times but also attracted negative comments.

Andrea Kelly’s youngest child with ex, R. Kelly, recently came out of the closet with his transition from female to male.

The 14 year old's decision to go public with the story sparked so many debates online, especially after father R. Kelly said he didn't want an interviewer addressing his daughter as a son [read here].

Soldiers in Lagos State Set BRT Buses On Fire, Attack And Shoot At Onlookers

Angry soldiers in Lagos State went on a rampage some hours ago and set buses belonging to the Lagos State Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) on fire after one of them was hit by one of the buses in Palmgrove area.

According to eye-witnesses who discussed the incident on Twitter, it all started when a BRT driver changed his lane and accidentally knocked down one soldier on a bike. The soldier wasn't killed or seriously hurt, but made calls after he was hit to call his colleagues to come and wreak havoc on the bus.

The passengers in the BRT bus including the offending driver tried pleading with him but he was adamant.

In March, an outbreak of Ebola began with a just a handful of cases in Guinea. As a public health afficionado if not practicioner, I've had my eyes on the reports of the outbreak, but recently Atala has been asking me what I know about the virus and he is becoming worried. So what is Ebola?

The Ebola virus causes viral hemorrhagic fever, and symptons can resemble the flu. The virus is named after the Ebola River in the DRCongo (formerly Zaire), where one of the first outbreaks occurred in 1976. Of Ebola's five sub-types, the Zaire strain is considered the most deadly.

The WHO has said preliminary tests on the Ebola virus in those cases in Guinea in March suggest the outbreak there is the Zaire strain, although that has not been confirmed.

However, as of June 30, at least 759 people in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia have been infected by Ebola since its symptoms were first observed four months ago. 467 of them have died. That's a 61.5 percent mortality rate.

Kefee Will Be Buried in Sapele on Friday 11th July, Condolence Team Confirms at Visit to Her Family

Late Nigerian pop gospel singer Kefee [real names - Irikefe Don-Momoh nee Obareki] would be buried on Friday 11th July 2014 in her hometown – Okpara-Inland, Ethiope East Local Government, Delta State.

On Thursday, her publicist in Lagos released a statement stating her husband, Teddy Don-Momoh who has been making arrangements to bring her body back from the U.S., would arrive the country first to receive her body before taking her down to Delta State for burial.

Teddy earlier indicated that his wife’s family had requested that she be buried in their hometown, with a celebratory service in Sapele afterwards and he was comfortable with the arrangement.
