Man Sues Hospital For Amputating His Penis Without Permission

An man Johnny Lee Banks Jr. and his wife, Zelda Banks, have filed a lawsuit Tuesday suing an Alabama hospital, doctors and others for medical malpractice.

The lawsuit says Banks went to Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, last month for a routine circumcision. It alleges the man's penis was gone when he awoke after the surgery.

The suit names two doctors and Princeton Baptist Medical Center, a urology group, and a medical clinic as defendants and is seeking an unspecified dollar amount.

A hospital spokeswoman says the claims lack merit..

One Nigerian Reported Among 116 Passengers Feared Dead In Crashed Air Algerie Flight AH5017

One Nigerian has been reported among the passengers on AH5017, the ill-fated Air Algerie flight which vanished with 116 people on board en route from Burkina Faso to Algiers, now confirmed to have crashed in Mali.

Mali's President, Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, confirmed wreckage of the flight has been found in his country's desert north.

'I have just been informed that the wreckage has been found between Aguelhoc and Kidal,' Keita said
during a meeting of political, religious and civil society leaders in Bamako. He did not give any more details.

9 Nigerian Students Kidnapped And Held Hostage in Ukraine

9 Nigerian students are believe to have been kidnapped in Lugansk, Ukraine earlier this week. Ukrainian news agencies say militants abducted the Nigerian students on Monday and have been holding them as prisoners at an occupied government security building.

Ukrainian authorities continue negotiations for the release of nine Nigerian students who are held captive by militants in Lugansk, the speaker of the National Security Council information center Andrei Lysenko.

"Nigerian students are still in captivity and are now negotiating on their release," - he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.

Earlier, at a press briefing on Tuesday A.Lysenko reported that on July 21 in Lugansk gunmen kidnapped nine students, citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. According to him, the students held in occupied buildings UAS.
