Dear Myne - These Unwelcome Visitors Have Refused To Leave My Home
I wish this was fiction but it isn’t. I can’t vividly put everything on paper, so I’ll try to make it short. I’m a guy trying to make a decent living in the hustle and hustle chaos of Lagos like most people. I stay alone in a room self-contained apartment somewhere in the Lekki corridor. Those who know Lekki can agree with me it’s plagued with unreasonably astronomical rent. One day out of the blue my childhood friend called. He is in Lagos with the family somewhere around Ikotun. I promptly cleared my calendar and paid them a visit.
Short Story - I Was Not the Type For Dele
Anna met Dele... I feel like that could be the beginning and the end of my story. Anna met Dele. Have you ever met someone who singularly divides your life into two? The time before and the time after him.
I met Dele. It was not a dramatic moment, it wasn't romantic. We shared a cab from the airport. I arrived Nnamdi Azikwe Airport Abuja late one evening from Calabar. It was my first time in Abuja. I tried bargaining with the cabs i saw, they were ready to charge me a head and a foot to Gwarimpa that was when he showed up, he was going in my direction and suggested we share a cab.
Do You Love Who You See in The Mirror?
By Gracie
Do you love yourself? When u look into the mirror, do you really love what you see without always focusing on the flaws. The society will always throw negative comments; you’ve just got to be your own number one fan. People will always talk. They will always see a fault and magnify one tiny flaw for you. How worse it will be if you yourself are your own worst critic and even worse is when you now compare yourself with others.
Kate Middleton Steps Out With Prince William
Kate Middleton and Prince William together attended the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Queen's coronation ceremony earlier this month at Westminster Abbey. What a cute couple.
On John Kumuyi's Wedding and the Deeper Life Dress Code
Pictures of the wedding between John Kumuyi and Love Odih surfaced some days ago after their wedding last weekend and has been raising a lot of furor since then. I honestly had no idea when I posted them as I do some other celebrity wedding photos how controversial they would become. And it wasn't just on this blog. Almost everywhere I saw the photos, especially on Facebook where I got the picture above.
Tiger Photobombs Wedding Photoshoot
Looking at this, you'd think it's like the photoshopped pictures of couples with their favorite movie monsters, [see here] but this is real. Karma and Andrew Madgwick, newlyweds in Devon, England were simply posing for photographs at their reception at the Paignton Zoo when an endangered Sumatran tiger decided to crash their wedding photo.
