Jennifer Lopez is promoting her latest album and she's also talking or it seems agonising over her love life. The 45-year-old looks great on the cover of ELLE UK, and has had an amazing life by all considerations, but it seems she thinks she's been unlucky in the romantic department.
With three divorces and a failed engagement behind her, JLo says that she has not given up on love and will eventually "get it right." Reflecting over her past relationships, Jennifer says,
'I still believe in love. The nirvana man, he’s out there somewhere. But you just have to work at it. You have to work at everything.'
'Everybody has seen that I make mistakes. I rush in, I get swept up and I ignore the signs. But so many of us are guilty of these things.
'Each time it goes wrong, it’s hard. I get really hurt but I have to let myself go: "What did I do? What can I learn?" And as hard and as hurtful as things get, I want to believe I will be able to go one step higher. I’ve got to hope that if I keep going I will eventually get it right.'
The mother-of-two split with ex, 27-year-old dancer Casper Smart, after it was rumored that he had cheated on her with a transgender woman. Although he furiously denied the claims, JLo ended the relationship of two and a half years in June.
The star admitted that when she and her third husband Marc Anthony split, she wished that she could have made it work for the sake of her children
