Adaeze Yobo is busy completing her university education, but she makes time for her husband, Joseph Yobo and son, Joey. Yesterday, the couple went out on a date night, and today, she shared the picture above calling them her clique.

Many people who marry young sometimes cannot cope, but Adaeze has allowed herself grow up quickly and is making it work for her. Kudos!

When exactly did you leave Nige­ria?

As soon as I met my husband, I left the shores of Nigeria for further studies. I went to New York. I got married in 2009 and in 2010, I had my son.

What’s it like being a mother?

It’s been a wonderful experience being mother to this wonderful son of mine. When the little boy came out from my body, I dis­covered that he’s my first real love. I thought I was in love with my husband not until I saw my son. I have never loved somebody that much in my life.

Joseph and Adaeze Yobo Say Goodby to Turkish Team Fenerbahce

Joseph Yobo, who played as the Super Eagles' captain at the last World Cup but resigned soon after, has been let go by his Turkish team. The football player was honoured last night at Fenerbahce's opening game of the season.

The Turkish Super Lig club, had announced on Friday August 29th that they were releasing Yobo due to restriction in the number of foreign players.

Adaeze Yobo Defends Husband Joseph Yobo Against Criticism For Own Goal

Joseph Yobo has been criticised on various social media platforms for scoring an own goal [see here] during Nigeria’s match against France yesterday and his wife has come to his defense.

But really, it was not his fault, Enyeama had not thrown out the ball completely when it came from the corner kick by France. Joseph Yobo barely touched the ball before it moved further into the net. Seriously, any one can score an own goal, and it wasn't as if we were winning the match before then.

Anyway Adaeze Yobo did not take kindly to those yabbing her husband, especially on her own Instagram page. She slammed them while defending her husband Joseph Yobo and the Super Eagles.

Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo made the national team’s final list released by head coach, Stephen Keshi, last week for the FIFA World Cup which begins Thursday in Brazil. However, not everyone is happy about that development, and his performances at the recent friendly matches have not helped his case, especially the Nigeria-USA match last Saturday.
