Mikel Obi Celebrates Girlfriend's Birthday, Meets Her Family

Mikel Obi and girlfriend Olga Diyachenko, may not be engaged yet, contrary to various reports that they are, read here, but their love has been waxing strong. The couple have been together now for almost a year, and it turns out that Mikel is well known to her parents.

Mikel Obi Denies That He is Engaged To Russian Girlfriend, Olga Diyachenko

Mikel Obi is one of Nigeria's top earning football players, and has been listed among the top 10 sexiest and most eligible bachelors [here].

Talking to sports journalist, Colins Udoh, 27 year old Mikel dismissed reports that he has proposed to Olga, his Russian girlfriend. Mikel admitted that they were together and added that Nigerian girls should not attack her on social media for dating him. He said;

"Yes, she is my girlfriend, but I have not proposed to her. If that happens, it will not be hidden and everyone will know. I'm begging Nigerian girls to please leave her alone. Some Nigerian girls have already been attacking her (on social media) since this fake story came out."

Couple Love - Mikel Obi And Russian Girlfriend All Booed Up

Mikel Obi is in love with his Russian girlfriend Olga Diyachenko and is not hiding it. There are speculations that the two are engaged, but while Mikel is yet to confirm that, it's very obvious that he's not single anymore.

Olga who shared these pictures on social media calls the footballer Pooh, and she says she's been learning to make Nigerian meals too.

Mikel Obi Returns From The World Cup To Grand Welcome From Amstel Malta

Mikel Obo returned to Nigeria yesterday after the World Cup in Brazil and received a warm welcome from his fans and also from Amstel Malta, for whom he is a Brand Ambassador. Though Nigeria may not have gone as far as any of us wished, Mikel also had his fans at the event.

Mikel was at the Nigerian Breweries HQ for a courtesy visit, along with other celebrities like OC Ukeje and Tee A and there was a good turn out of press and fans. Check out the photos.

Some Reasons That Keep Men From Getting Married

Sometimes, you see handsome, hardworking men who are single, and say they are searching and ready to get married, and you wonder, "so what is stopping you?".Uti Nwachukwu and Mikel obi were both selected nominated as February man candys, for looking good and working hard. They were among those who were single and still searching.

Today in different interviews, they reveal some reasons they are still that way. One reason I appreciate their comments is that they made about them rather than about faults in women in general or about a specific woman.

Uti Nwachukwu thinks it is aspects of his character that's keeping the woman he wants away;

“I am an extremely jealous guy but I am praying to God to make me less jealous and less possessive. I believe that if you find somebody that’s for you, that person should be for you only. I’m a bit extreme because my lover must focus on only me. Now that’s a bit difficult and that’s why I say I am a very difficult person to be with. Perhaps, I’m very demanding when it comes to relationships. Apart from being a jealous lover I also expect you to give back to me what I am giving you. I expect 100 per cent attention and care and nothing less. So, it’s going to be hard but I know God gave me this standard in order to connect me with the exact person he has created for me.”
