Kirk Franklin Slams Creflo Dollar For His $65 Million Public Appeal To Buy A Private Jet
Popular prosperity preacher and tele-evangelist Creflo Dollar was a few weeks ago shamed into deleting a public fundraising campaign to raise $65 Million to buy a new private jet for himself [read here]. The money was supposedly to help him and his ministry “continue to blanket the globe with the Gospel of grace.” The fundraiser urged 200,000 people to contribute 300 US dollars each to purchase the Gulfstream G-650 jet.
But many wondered why he needed to buy the most expensive private jet in the world, and why he needed to ask his congregation and the public to buy it for him. What happened to buying an affordable private jet with his own millions?

Redeemed Church Heartlessly Mocks Death Of Book Pirate With Open Heavens Advert
Where is our humanity? As Christians, where is our compassion and love? An advertisement message using the picture above and promoting Pastor EA Adeboye's daily devotional, Open Heavens, has gone viral on Facebook and I find it utterly distasteful that it is supposedly coming from the camp of a man of God. I was minded to disregard the advert but I was tagged in it more than once and one of the people who started it, I noticed, is a respected member of the Redeemed Church. The message goes thus;
Creflo Dollar Deletes Fundraiser For $60 Million Private Jet After Backlash
Yesterday, world renowned prosperity preacher, Pastor Creflo Dollar created a fundraising page on his website for one of the most luxurious private jets in production, a Gulfstream G650, to cost $60 Million. He requested for 200,000 believers to donate $300 each to help him and the church quickly reach the goal and purchase the private jet. There was an immediate online backlash once the story leaked on theroot and elsewhere, and now, the goFundme page has been removed.
The church had been making the demand because, they said, the private jet the pastor had been using before now had recently suffered engine failure leading to an emergency landing, which is not a good thing. The intro begging for donations re-iterated that Pastor Creflo Dollar needed a replacement so as to ensure that he, his wife, and staff members of the church can get to their overseas engagements safely and quickly, at any needed time.

Graphic Photos of Blogger Hacked To Death In Bangladesh Emerge Online Amid Protests
Dr Avijit Roy was a blogger and author who spoke out for free-thinking and campained for freedom of religion. Though based in the United States, he sought to bring change to his country of origin, Bangladesh. And now, while on a visit to the capital of that country for a book fair where he and his wife were to speak, he was hacked to death by religious bigots right on the street.
Now, graphic and brutal images are currently being circulated by extremists on social media, which show Roy dead on a sidewalk in Dhaka, Bangladesh with his wounded wife, Rafida Ahmed, standing over his body. However on RML, we'll chose to remember the blogger as a human being, and grant him the dignity which his killers have taken away. Dr Roy was a husband and father of one. May his soul rest in peace.

Pope Francis may not want Roman Catholic church members breeding like rabbits, but at the same time he's not happy with couples who choose not to have children at all. The pope was recently quoted to have said that couples who refuse to have children are selfish.
Pope Francis caused quite a stir after he branded such couples who choose not to have children as part of a 'greedy generation.' He made the remarks in front of a large crowd during his weekly general audience in St Peter's Square, Rome.'

Pastor E.A Adeboye has sent out a curse over allegations by Governor Rotimi Amaechi yesterday, claiming that some pastors were paid about N6 billion. The money was supposed given to them by PDP to discredit the APC and its presidential candidate, Buhari, and ensure they tell church members to vote Jonathan based on religion. The revered head pastor of RCCG worldwide is not standing for the report, and shared the message below on his verified Facebook account;
I Read in the Newspaper this morning that one of the serving Governors in Nigeria said that some Pastor(S) in Nigeria collected 6 Billion Naira from politicians for the purpose of influencing their members to vote a certain candidate in the coming Elections.

'The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven' Author Says Book Is Made Up Of Lies
“The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven,” is a best-selling Christian book by Alex Malarkey and his father, Kevin Malarkey which purports to answer the question of whether God and Heaven are real.
The book was first published in 2010, and supposedly narrates Alex's experiences while he lay in a 2-month coma after a car accident when he was 6 years old. His injuries left him paralyzed, but the book said while he was in the coma, he died and went to heaven and moved around and met and spoke with Jesus.
Now, 16-year-old Alex says everything in the book was made up. "I did not die. I did not go to Heaven," he states in an open letter to Christians everywhere who are reading the book.

He has began his flogging sentence which is portioned at 50 lashes every Friday. His crime is that his blog supposedly insults religious figures and the regime in Saudi Arabia. Raif has always denied these charges.
As the 31-year-old father of three received his first 50 lashes today, his wife Ensaf Haidar, who lives almost 6,000 miles away in Quebec, says it is too much to bear.
