So Joy Bewaji, the host, invited me to their November meet-up and I was able to make it. I even sat on the high table and asnwered question on relationships as if I knew anything! LOL.. It's awards season in the Hollywood calendar and black actors are very well represented this year, with many of them and their movies being touted for top honors at the Oscars. Chiwetel Ejiofor in Twelve Years a Slave, Idris Elba in Mandela's biopic, Long Walk to Freedom, and Micheal B. Jordan in Fruitvale Station, a story based on the true life murder of a young black man in urban America.
