President Jonathan's Short Reply to Obasanjo's 18 Page Missive - Is it Too Late For Nigeria?
Nigeria, oh Nigeria. Which way our country? I call the letter short because President Jonathan did not write 18 pages, just 10 reasons for replying former president Obasanjo, and 50 paragraphs to rebut the key issues raised. Two comments,
1. Jonathan is only concerned about maintaining his integrity and not on whether he's really working, but he says he's working sha.
2. Jonathan asks for evidence of high corruption and then alludes to questionable waivers Obasanjo signed. I ask, why hasn't Obasanjo explained those waivers to Mr. President, or better still, the EFCC?
Daddy Time - President Obama Jokes About His Daughters Beginning to Date
President Barack Obama says his daughters Malia, 15, and Sasha, 12, are "very sensible, and that "he's not worried about them starting to date because he's got help keeping an eye on them. Obama joked that he's "got men with guns following them around all the time," referring to the Secret Service protection that the first family has.
The Future Awards And Its Misrepresentation Of The Nigerian Youth By Gimba Kakanda
By Gimba Kakanda
"I have absolute confidence in the strength and ability of the Nigerian youth. All over the world, the Nigerian youth is a newsmaker, known for exhibiting talent, using his brain either to redeem or to reduce whichever system he is in. The Nigerian youth, despite having bad role models, has defied setbacks and limitations to climb up the ladder of excellence. This is why I am among the many upset by the misrepresentation of their achievements by the sham called "The Future Awards" – an award which was designed to highlight these achievements, but has been reduced to rewarding the ‘efforts’ of the organisers and their friends and friends of their friends!
Nigerian Abiola Ogungbenle's Reaction To His First Snowfall Goes Viral
I remember that one of my expectations when I moved to Edinburgh for my masters was seeing snow, and possibly playing in it. My first experience of snow turned out to be a mountain climbing trip since it didn't really snow that winter.

The Nigerian senate unanimously passed a bill that aims to not only ban same sex marriages, but also void marriages of that kind registered outside of Nigeria. Partners may face up to 14 years in prison if they get married or attempt to do so in Nigeria. Clauses within the bill also aim to ban groups, organisations and individuals that support homosexual people and their rights.
Enugu State First Lady, Mrs. Clara Chime Thanks Nigerians For Helping Liberate Her From a Bad Marriage
The Enugu State First Lady, Mrs. Clara Chime in an interview with Channels Television, spoke about the incident that led to her being liberated from the government house in Enugu, and thanked Nigerians for speaking out on her behalf. According to her, she suffered depression because of the treatment she got from her husband and the drugs given to her were the wrong prescription according to her new doctors. The drugs made her condition worse and also led to her adding weight. Glad she's receiving proper treatment now.
