Academic Reward Opportunity For School Children of Enugu Parents In MD/DC/VA

The Enugu State Association of Washington DC wishes to formally recognize the  academic efforts of children born to Enugu State indigenes that are living in the Washington DC metro area (DC, MD, VA). To this end, entries are being solicited for candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the Enugu State Academic Recognition Ceremony which will hold on Saturday, June 20th, 2015.

This Award Recognition Ceremony will honor school-age children that excelled in Academics in the Spring, 2015 semester, and recent high school graduates that will be heading off to college in Fall, 2015.

Man Discovers Wife Has No Vagina After 3 Years of Marriage, Gets Divorce

The three-year-old marriage between one Femi and wife, Kemi, in Abeokuta, has been dissolved due to the absence of vagina, deceit and frequent fighting by a Customary Court sitting in Ake today. Femi accused his wife, who had failed to appear in court after being summoned several times, of living a false life, frequent fighting and threatening his life.

Femi told the court that his wife deceived him to marry her knowing that she could not bear him a child. He pleaded with the court’s president to dissolve his three-year-old marriage that had nothing to show for both now and in future.

Chibok Girls? Nigerian Military Finds Almost 300 Girls & Women in Sambisa Forest

The official Twitter account of the Nigerian military above has just put out a three-tweet series of announcement saying they have found 200 girls and 93 women in Sambisa Forest. They say they cannot officially confirm if the girls found are the same ones who were abducted from their school in Chibok community in April last year as they are yet to be profiled. My hope is that there are some of them among the group, but it is great that these women are now free! Great news! See the full tweets below...

International music star, Asa has released the video for her hit single 'Eyo' and unlike most of her other videos shot in various locations outside Nigeria, Eyo is shot in Lagos. The song is off her Bed of Stone album which was released in 2014.

The colourful video, which has the soulful singer combining several great fashion choices with her signature eye pieces, was directed by Meji Alabi for JM production. 15 Year Old Forced Into Prostitution To Pay Her Kidnappers Before She Was Released

Precious Nwaigwe, the 15-year-old schoolgirl, who disappeared on her way back to school about a year ago, has said she was trafficked to Libya and forced into prostitution to pay the Libyan pimp who bought her from the kidnappers. She lamented that after paying the money, she was again used as collateral for a 500 Libyan dinars (N50,000) loan by the kidnapper's liaison in Libya before she was finally able to return home.

She added that her abductors conducted pregnancy tests on her three different times, which were negative, and that she saw more than 1,000 Nigerian girls, who were also forced to work for the money paid by the pimps to the human traffickers.

In a social experiment by whatever.com, Andrea Wendel  approached 100 men directly, asking them to follow her home and have sex with her. In the first part of the experiment last month, to see how men and women respond to sex from strangers, women were asked by a random male stranger on the street if they would follow him home for sex. He asked 100 women for sex and none would agree to go with him.

In the case of Andrea Wendel going to the streets to ask random men for sex, guess how many men said yes? 30! 30 men agreed to there and then to follow a woman they have never seen before to her home for sex!
