The Nigerian First Lady Patience Jonathan is alleged to have made some very bad grammatical mistakes at the PDP campaign rally for Nyesom Wike in Okrika, Rivers state yesterday. Someone on Twitter who said they watchedMama Peace speak at the rally on TV shared some of the bad parts of her speech. Lindsay Lohan Released From Hospital After Chikungunya Virus Infection

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has been discharged from a London hospital where she was diagnosed with the rare, incurable Chikungunya virus which she is said to have picked up while holidaying in Bora Bora.

Lindsay was released from the hospital because her fever broke sufficiently, and her mom Dina is on her way to London to be with her. However, Lindsay's joint pain is reported to be still intense and doctors referred her to a specialist who treats the virus.

Rihanna Wins $5.5million In 4 Year Case against Topshop

Rihanna has won a four-year long court case against fashion retailer Topshop who put a photo of the pop star on a T-shirt without her permission or endorsement. Rihanna sued Topshop’s parent company Arcadia for $5.5million in damages maintaining that "only a celebrity may ever market his or her own character."

Britain's Court of Appeal on Thursday apparently agrees with her as they upheld an earlier ruling that Topshop can't sell the shirt bearing the singer's image without her approval. The star's lawyers said the image was from an unauthorized photo taken while Rihanna was filming a video in Northern Ireland in 2011.

President Goodluck Jonathan Has A PhD Certificate But No Thesis?

APC presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari may have presented his WASC photostat and statement of result but some PDP champions are not satisfied. Some say the want the original certificate, while others point to the name disparity. Others say Buhari perjured himself by saying his credentials were with the army.

Now, APC supporters are shifting the qualification issue to president Goodluck Jonathan though his certificate has been notarized by INEC. Newlywed 18-Year-Old Woman Gang Raped By 7 Men In India

An 18-year-old newlywed woman was allegedly gang-raped by seven men on Saturday night in Bhithali village of Shinor Taluka in Vadodara district, India, after she was kidnapped from her home.

The woman had migrated to Bhithali few days ago with her husband and in-laws in search of work. The victim's family is a native of Nishana village of Nasvadi Taluka in Chota Udepur. The family was employed by a farm owner in the village to do labour work in the fields. The local police sub-inspector J M Waghela confirmed the news to the press.
