Myles Munroe's Son And Daughter Speak Publicly On his Death For The First Time

Posted in: , ,

Charissa Munroe and her brother, Myles Munroe Jr., were close to tears as they addressed their first press conference after the death of both of their parents, Dr. Myles and Ruth Munroe. The younger Munroe displayed an oratorship very similar to his father as he read a statement from the family while surrounded by his sister and other loved ones.

"We are not sure how or why something like this would be allowed to happen to such great individuals, but still, God is in control. The last few days have been the most difficult times for my sister and I, my family and all of those affected by this loss. We are saddened by this tragic event, but we are comforted and encouraged by the outpouring of love and support from around the country and those around the world at large."

Myles Munroe also thanked everyone for the outpouring of consolations to him, his sister and their family as they grapple with their loss. He says he knows his parents are resting among the heavenly angels. He says the crash does not mark the end of his father's legacy but a new beginning, and there would be a celebration of life in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, the cockpit voice recording from the plane has been found. Authorities hope the recovery of the black box will lead to answers about how the jet crashed into a construction crane in Freeport.

  2. Hmm.....am still so much pained. But,thank God they already reproduced themselves in a lot of us before their deaths. The future Myles/Ruth Munroes, the future Richard Pinders, etc. are stepping up to take their place, and we will DIE..........EMPTY!

    1. Not die empty but to leave a legacy behind for not giving up when we face tragedy and staying in the race till the end.
