Katie Price Wins Celebrity Big Brother!

Katie Price stays winning! The British reality TV show, Celebrity Big Brother ended today and after the votes were counted and all, it emerged that former glamor model, reality star and singer, Katie Price won the show! The final three housemates were Katie Prize with Calum Best above, and Katie Hopkins. Calum was sent out, then Katie Hopkins, leaving Katie Price as the winner.

Earlier today, US Gossip Blogger Perez Hilton who was one of the housemates, threw his support behind Katie after he left the show. He posted a video on Youtube asking people to vote for her over and over again since she was the most deserving housemate to win. Well, seems like got it right and the rest of Britain and all who were voting agreed with him. Katie Price wins 100,000 Pounds!

Big Brother's Tayo Faniran Flaunts New Range Rover

Tayo Faniran, the Nigerian rep at the Big Brother Africa Hotshots may not have won the jackpot of $300,000 but he must have obviously done well for himself via the exposure the house gave him. The new dad who has signed on as ambassador for various brands has just bought a car and shared the good news on Instagram with the above picture collage. He captioned the car, ‘I don buy Motor #Godwin @donjazzy photocredit @realtarmar’. Congrats to him!

Nigeria's Tayo Loses Out, Tanzania's Idris Wins Big Brother Hotshots

The Big Brother Africa Hotshots 2014 which was season nine of the show ended today, Sunday, December 7, with Idris from Tanzania emerging as the winner of the show and he goes home with $300, 000.

Eight housemates -- Sipe, Nhlanhla, Mackey 2, JJ, Idris, Mam'bea, Butterphly and Tayo -- of 26 remained after 63 days. They were evicted in this order: Butterphly and Mam'bea, JJ and Sipe, Nhlanhla and Macky2, leaving Idris and Tayo.

Nigerian Lilian Evicted from Big Brother Africa Hotshots 2014

Lilian Afegbai has been evicted! The Nigeria's female representative at Big Brother Africa Hotshots 2014 was sent home tonight after just two weeks since the reality show premiered.

Tayo, the other Nigerian in the house was also up for eviction but was saved. I was thinking he would want to leave after finding out about his new baby, but that maybe just more reason to stay to the end and bring home the money.

Not only am I visiting a cousin who is a huge fan of the franchise, it turns out that one of the people representing Nigeria is my homeboy, from the same village as I am in Asaba. My cousin knows him personally as they've been family friends for years, and I've met him a couple of times, first time being when he was still a pimply teenager. Now he's a fine boy no pimples :)
