Did Natasha in Big Brother Africa actually use a Sex Toy?

Now that I'm back in Seattle, I don't know if I can keep up with the Big brother Africa show, but this news I got in my email got me clicking over to go see the latest. Natasha from Malawi has been one of my favorites from the time they went into the house. She has a sunny disposition, and always cheerful. I actually predicted that she would last long but she was recently put up for eviction.


Now, I'm not sure if the vibrator news is her playing a joke, or a ploy to remain in the house, but it somehow suited to her refreshing character to hear that she may have used a vibrator in the Ruby House.

According to the DSTV Big Brother Africa website,

...she purred to her fellow Rubies, “Don’t be scared if you hear a zzzzzzzzz sound while you sleep, it’s just me and my vibrator,” and then smiled mischievously like the cat that got the cream. Wowza, this Natasha sure likes to stir things up doesn’t she? Her fellow Housemates were clearly taken aback by this declaration as Maria and Oneal quickly leapt out of bed to get a better listen to this intriguing bit of information. “Seriously if you hear a grrr grr sound, don’t think that I am shaving, I am not shaving,” she added while laughing.

But with Natasha and that dirty mouth of hers you just never know what is true and what is not and so the intrigued Rubies asked her for proof. She suddenly played coy and merely giggled but as she giggled Elikem who was sleeping in the bed next to her with Pokello jumped up from under the covers and exclaimed, “I heard it". “You are hearing things,” Natasha said in a fit of laughter.

If she really used a vibrator, and also glibly announced it to her housemates, well, well, well... I can only call her avant garde. As much as some Africans like to think they're all cosmopolitan, inside are some bastions of tradition. I hope she is not voted out for this.
