Since this is TW's men's edition, one would be forgiven for expecting to see a man on the cover of the magazine, but Olajumoke Adenowo makes a lovely picture. I've been wanting to see some non-entertainment women on magazine covers and TW seems to have read my mind. Olajumoke is an architect. Well done TW!
Jennifer Eliogu – Ifunanya : Romance Meets Music
This is honestly one of the best songs I've heard come out of Nigeria in recent times. Her first single, You and I gave a sample of what her sound is - highlife with a hint of R&B - but in this song, she comes into her own, both lyrically and vocally. I love this, and will buy a CD when it becomes available.

Stephanie Linus on Love, Marriage and Wedding Destinations
Last year, actress Stephanie Linus, nee Okereke got married in a destination wedding set in Paris. With just about 400 guests, her wedding got me appreciating the benefits of destination weddings in this post. In an interview with Bellanija.com, Stephanie talks, among other things, about her reason for choosing Paris for her wedding, her anniversary, what attracted her to her husband, and why there should be no difference between the wedding and the marriage.

It is not often that those born into royal families marry ordinary people, but Prince William and Kate seem to have opened the door to more of such couplings. Swedish princess, Madeline, met her husband, banker Christopher O'Neill, on his home turf in New York but their wedding took place in her country in a mixed language ceremony.

Tiwa Savage has a new album coming out so I expect she'll be doing a lot of promo. This is a lovely cover, but with that hint of spice with the unbuttoned jacket :)
Jupiter Strong and The Lunch Lion - A Book For Children
Many African parents at home or in the diaspora, are often on the lookout for new books and other material they can use to teach their children good values and which features characters that look like them. The duo of Frank Edwards and Kelly Abel have come up with an idea for a series of books which I think is brilliant! And the fact that the artwork is so fresh and colorful will make it a double hit for children and parents, I personally love it. The first book in the series is “Jupiter Strong and The Lunch Lion”

“He’s cheating Tolani, I am telling you” Seke screams.
“What? No oh Bolaji won’t do that to me.” I say while trying to assure myself also that my husband of less than two years could not possibly be cheating on me.
“Answer me now, what time does he come home?”
I don’t even know why she’s screaming. I can hardly get my thoughts together.
I'm in Texas and Everything Really is Big
There's this joke that I'm sure a lot of you have heard various versions of it. I can't remember any version completely but suffice to say, one of the lines say, in Texas, everything is big. This is my first time in Texas, and I can now say, that part of the joke is totally true.
