After announcing an end to its 60-year stint as a weekly print publication, JET Magazine has officially gone digital with the launch of its first application. The magazine’s publisher issued a media-directed press release Tuesday (July 1).
Johnson Publishing Company (JPC), launched its new JET magazine app. The app replaces the printed edition of the magazine. The new digital magazine app will add fresh content on a weekly basis, every Friday. Readers will be entertained by 3D images, video interviews, enhanced digital maps, audio content and photography from the JPC archives. The app will be available on all tablet and mobile platforms. There will be a free introductory offer of 30 days for all subscribers. (Press Release)
Hollywood actress Keke Palmer marks the application’s first digital cover feature.
