World Cup Fan Who Got L'Oreal Contract Loses Out Because She Hunted Animals in Africa

A 17 year old Belgian football fan who landed a L'Oreal contract after she was spotted cheering her team at the World Cup has lost the opportunity after the above picture of her hunting deer in Africa surfaced from her Facebook page.

Axelle Despiegelaere who is a fan of big game hunting, posed near the dead and bloodied Gemsbok antelope during a trip to Africa.

Though she said the picture was taken over a year ago, thousands of animal rights activists petitioned to L'oreal and their spokesperson officially confirmed to the Independent they have cut ties with her.

Axelle's pictures from the World Cup had gone viral and she was dubbed "World's most beautiful football fan". See the picture that attracted L'Oreal in the first place below...

Girl Plays Dead to Survive After Aunt's Ex-Husband Shoots Her Parents and Siblings To Death

An abusive husband, Ron Lee Haskell, looking for his ex-wife, tied up and murdered the ex-wife’s sister, her husband and four of their five children because they wouldn't reveal where his ex-wife was.

Their oldest daughter was shot and wounded but played dead - the only way she was able to survive the mass murder of her family by her former uncle.

Ron Lee Haskell had forced himself into his former sister-in-law’s house while looking for his ex-wife Melanie Haskell - she was not there. He then tied up everyone in the family and asked them to tell him where she was. When they couldn’t or wouldn’t answer, he shot all of them to death. Or so he thought.

9-Year-Old Girl Kidnapped at 6 Confronts Her Traffickers After She is Rescued by Police

Her real name is Iyabo but she was renamed Blessing after she was abducted at the age of 6, and spent the last 3 years of her life trafficked from one woman in Lagos to another who sold her along for profit.

According to the Lagos State Police Command who rescued her, Iyabo had been sold to different people and made to work as a maid. She was on her way to school when a woman wearing a pudah (burquah) took her away in her car.

She told reporters that she did domestic work in the various “homes” and each time she complained to people that she had been abducted, they beat her. The last woman threatened to poison her.

In the theatre, at the Silverbird Galleria, about six years ago (2008), at about 11.00am. We were the only ones who came early on a Saturday morning to watch a movie. She was taking some kids to the theatre then she went to see her own movie and I was at the movies too. I was single at the time.
