Widows Open Up on Their Sex Life And How They Cope
The perception that a widow doesn’t and shouldn’t have a sexual need lies in the minds of the ignorant. The urge is there, stronger, deeper and certainly more intense. Punch asked a few widows what their experience has been like.
53-year-old school teacher, Getrude Oyetayo said she had had to battle with the issue of loneliness since her husband, Williams, passed on five years ago. Oyetayo says she is still not used to the fact that she is a widow, saying she would not wish the condition for her worst enemy.;
“I am not too old, somebody should be around me. The urge to have sex comes on once in a while, it is the grace of God that keeps me going all this while.”
“Personally, I came to realise that my profession of being a teacher has helped me a lot. I am disciplined. I try to make sure I am myself. I respect myself and forge ahead. I don’t dwell along that line. If I put my interest there, I will lose focus. Peradventure it comes again; I only ask God what He thinks I should do. God has always been there. God will ask me if He is not sufficient for me. If I have any sexual feelings, I engage myself in the house of God. It has helped me not to think of it.
Facebook Page Shares Pastor Chris And Anita Oyakhilome's Divorce Update
The Facebook page that initially brought to light the issues between Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and Pastor Anita has become operational again. Their stated aim is to reconcile the couple and prevent divorce, but it seems bridges can no more be mended. The message below was posted a week before the news about Pastor Anita filing for divorce emerged.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
It is very interesting that we requested the closure of this page and were informed that in 14 days, the page will shut down. But... its still here! What happened?
The Lord needs the page open! The purpose obviously has not been achieved. There is a huge question still hanging - "Where is Rev. Anita Oyakhilome?"
I believe the Lord allowed our silence to show us and all of you who are concerned about the ministry just how deep the problems are. It is not surprising the negative, abusive and insultive comments people have come here to make against others because they decided to stand up for truth and speak up.

Omoni Oboli had gotten some flack for her choice of outfit to the presidential screening of her debut directiorial effort, a romantic comedy titled, Being Mrs. Elliot. But for the official movie premiere, the actress, mother and director can't be faulted.
Her white gown cannot be faulted, figure hugging but modest at the same time with a beaded asymmetric neckline. I'm loving her hair and makeup too.
Here's wishing her all the best for the general release.

Photos - Maheeda Lands Glamour Modelling Job For Ruggedman's University Jacket
Maheeda has landed a paid job to show off her beautiful body as one of the glamour models for Ruggedman's soon to be launched 8Figures varsity jacket from his TSW (Twentieth Sept Wear) collection.
When pictures of both of them surfaced online, some had thought they were dating, but Ruggedman cleared the air during an interview yesterday. He debunked the rumours and stated that it was only a working relationship between him and Maheeda. He said;
"I wanted her to do something for my clothing line, she came to an office close to my house and I asked her to stop by to pick the clothes, that is all. We have been friends since 2007."
See pictures of the two below and more shots from the modelling photoshoot in Lagos.

Dennis Akagba, Fiance of Justina Ejelonu, On Why She Died And How He Was Able to Beat Ebola
Mr. Dennis Akagha is the husband-to-be of late Miss Justina Ejelonu, the nurse who contacted and died of the Ebola disease from Mr. Sawyer. In an interview with Vanguard, he shares his experience of caring for his fiance before her death, and his own terrifying brush with the Ebola Virus Disease.
On how Justina contracted the virus from Patrick Sawyer
The truth is that Justina and I were not legally married, we were planning for our traditional marriage in October and she just got this job. She was a qualified graduate nurse and got the job at the First Consultant Hospital in Lagos. She resumed duty at the hospital on the 21st of July, while Patrick Sawyer was admitted at the hospital on the 20th.
He was her first patient. She was one of the nurses that nursed him. She was pregnant and so her immune system was weak, which made it easy for her to contract the disease. On that first day which was a Monday, she was having some pregnancy symptoms, but I just encouraged her to go because it was her first day at work. Sawyer was her first patient.
The next day, Tuesday, she didn’t work on Sawyer. Wednesday and Thursday, she was off. Then on Friday, Patrick Sawyer died. They didn’t know he had Ebola, it was three days later that they realized it was Ebola.
Woman Takes Hospital To Court After Giving Birth to Down's Syndrome Baby
A South African woman has gone to the constitutional court to claim thousands of pounds in damages after a medical centre failed to diagnose her son with Down's syndrome.
The woman, identified only as Ms H. to protect the identity of her child, is arguing her son represents a "wrongful life," as she would have aborted the foetus if she had been told by the clinic it was at a high risk of having Down's syndrome.
Telegraph UK reports that the mother is seeking £368,742 in damages on behalf of her child, who has severe Down's syndrome and needs constant care, according to court documents.
Earlier this month, there was also an uproar after Australian parents were accused of abandoning one of their twins born through a surrogate mother in Thailand after the male baby was diagnosed with Down's syndrome.
