Boyfriend of Murdered Woman Denies Husband's Allegations - Says She had a Sugar Daddy

35-year-old wife and mother of four children, Martha Ifeoma Ifewulu was murdered on Dec 1, 2014, and found in her home with throat slit by her young children, read here. I was among those to suspect 52-year-old Law­rence Ugochukwu Ifewulu, blame the Dateline shows where most home deaths are caused by significant others, and he was the last to see her alive.

However, Mr. If­ewulu had claimed innocence, insisting that one Collins, an alleged boy­friend of his wife, had killed her.

"I am not having any doubt or maybe suspecting any two or three people. Even if he did not execute it by himself, he sent some people to carry out the op­eration. I am quite sure of who killed my wife; he is responsible. This is beyond suspicion.

Now, the story is becoming more complicated as the boyfriend has spoken out, denying the accusation and fingering the husband and an alleged godfather of the dead woman.

The #RocNationBrunch in preparation for the #Grammys took place in LA today and Jay Z and Beyonce were the guests of honor. However, there are reports that Beyonce kept a low profile mostly because Kim Kardashian was there with husband Kanye, a label mate of Jay Z.

It was said that Kim was taking pictures with everyone and Beyonce did not want to get in a picture with her. Others at the event who were happy to take pictures with Kim include Gayle King, Kelly Rowland, and Rihanna. Janelle Monae, Keke Palmer, Jhene Aiko, Big Sean, Jayden and Willow Smith, among others were also at the event.

Brian Williams Leaves Anchor Chair Temporarily for Lester Holt

Brian Williams, the NBC News chief anchor has been the focus of an uproar over his false account of a decade-old incident during the Iraq war. Williams had on Wednesday recanted a story that he was in a helicopter in Iraq that was hit by enemy fire and forced to land back in 2003. Today, he has issued a statement saying he would be going off the air "for the next several days"

Williams wrote in a personal note posted on the NBC News website that fellow anchor Lester Holt would be taking over during the unspecified time period.

Bruce Jenner Involved in Fatal Car Crash - One Person Dead

Bruce Jenner was involved in a multi-vehicle pileup on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California, that killed one person today. The crash occurred several miles away from the reality TV star's home who wasn't hurt though one other person died.

At least three vehicles were involved in the crash and sustained damage, including Jenner's. Jenner family sources say Bruce was being chased by as many as 5 paparazzi at the time of the crash.  Bruce told cops he wasn't drinking and passed a field sobriety test.

Elections Postponed - Jega Announces New Dates

Prof. Attahiru Jega has just briefed the media on the outcome of all the meetings held earlier today to decide the best dates to hold elections. Jega held briefings with various stakeholders including all the political parties, security agencies, civil society and the media.

The INEC chairman said 26 out of the 28 registered political parties were at the meetings, and with their agreement, the 2015 general elections has officially been postponed by 6 weeks. He said the new date for the presidential elections is March 28th while governorship elections will now hold April 11th. This is after majority of electoral commissioners in their own meeting had voted to have the elections continue according to schedule.

Pastors Call On Amaechi to Reveal Names Of Those Who Took Election Bribes

Rev. Felix Omobude, national president of PFN, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria has challenged Governor Rotimi Amaechi to provide proof to back up his allegation that some pastors had collected the sum of N6 billion from the PDP for the purpose of influencing their members to vote for President Goodluck Jonathan in the presidential elections.

Omobude made this call a day after it emerged that Pastor EA Adeboye of RCCG had made a dangerous prayer, read here, against all pastors who may have collected the bribe from PDP. Adeboye had posted that "any Pastor(S) who collected such money... should please return such as quickly as possible before the fire of the almighty consumes" them.

Jega Confused & Under Pressure - INEC Commissioners Reject Election Postponement

The INEC Chairman, Mr Jega is said to be currently under a lot of pressure to postpone the Nigerian presidential, gubernatorial and federal elections slated for Feb 14 and 21. While the nation waits for his final decision to be announced any time soon via a media conference, rumors swirl that a postponement is a done deal, read here.

Journalists have been waiting endlessly at the INEC media centre today for INEC's chair Prof. Jega to confirm if the elections will hold or not. One of them, Fidelis Mba shared the photo above on Twitter. In the meantime, following a meeting by Jega with electoral commissioners, 21 of them are reported to have rejected the postponement of the elections.
