Why I Think "The One" Is A Myth

Posted in: , ,

"How did you know she was the one?" We got this question a lot when we announced our engagement. The short answer I like to give is "She told me she was." No but seriously, while we'd all like the answer to be something romantic and sappy like:

Bez - Say : Music Video Romance

Posted in: , ,

Bez with Say shows more maturity than is common for most musicians his age and he stands out with his soulful vibe and lyrics. He signposts in his Thank you note below that he's transitioning into a new phase and I think this song and video are perfect vehicles. Another wow factor about the video is the concept and the story. I want to see a feature film based on this story. Kemi Adetiba, any luck? Enjoy the video...

Is Premarital Sex Necessary To Keep Relationships?

Posted in: , , ,

Whether online or on the streets, the issue of sex before marriage is always controversial. Some people are able to abstain, either from personal convictions or their religious beliefs or simply avoiding romantic attachments until they're ready for marriage. Others are more about doing what works for their relationship and regard sex as part of what binds them to their loved ones.

Couple Love - Saint Obi and Wife Lydia Nwafor

In the 1990s and early 2000s, Saint Obi was the actor to beat in Nollywood. He was an action hero, and a romantic heartthrob. A movie was not complete without the Saint, and in my opinion he merited it. But he's been missing in action in the past few years, and it seems it was to focus on his personal life. In these recent pictures, he is with his wife, Lydia Saint-Nwafor, for whom he threw a surprise birthday party.

The 80/20 Rule states that in most healthy long term relationships, you only get about 80 per cent of what you need/want from your current partner. This is because no one is perfect and a couple are usually two different individuals with diverse backgrounds and personality. But if you're well matched, you're both respectful of one another, loving, and share a lot of the same interests - This is the 80%.

Former U.S. congressman, Anthony Weiner first admitted in June 2011 that he sent explicit photos of his "weiner" to women he had met online, and he was sexting them too. He apologized to the public for earlier denying the reports and said he was seeking treatment for sex addiction. He resigned from congress weeks later. His wife, Huma Abedin, did not appear beside him while he did the media rounds with his apology, neither did she make any statement, but she stayed with him.

How To Find Information on the Internet 3: Group Discussion Sites

Posted in: , ,

As mentioned earlier, a group discussion site contains content, typically about a specific topic, that has been submitted by the members of the site. This makes such sites invaluable if you are looking for information on that particular subject, because the members of the site who contribute the content are likely to be either enthusiastic or knowledgeable about the subject.

These sites could be blogs, where the submitted content is in the form of blog posts and comments, or they could be bulletin boards where the content is in the form of threads of posts submitted by the members of the site.
