On the Obesere Rape Case - Insult Upon Injury

I'm seriously gobsmacked when I read that musician and actor, Obesere has released a video CD about the rape allegation he faced about a month ago. In the video, he presents his case through an interview, and his key witness, the lady who introduced him to the victim, is also interviewed. Surely he doesn't have a legal standing to do this? Or does he? Lawyers in the house, please help.
