Stars Rejoice With Ireti Doyle on The Traditional Wedding of Her Daughter

Following the registry wedding of actress, Ireti Doyle’s daughter, the blushing bride, Ngozikachi Abimbola Ozofor, has been married in the traditional way July 19, 2014. See the couple's wedding album HERE.

The ceremony had a handful of Nollywood acts in attendance and held at an event centre situated in Agidingbi area of Lagos.

Spotted at the ceremony were Taiwo Ajai Lycett, Monalisa Chinda, Paul Adams Paul, Gideon Okeke, Tope Oshin, Wana Udobang, Jumobi Mofe Damijo, Funlola Aofiyebi Raimi, Ufuoma McDermontt, Linda Ejiofor, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Michelle Dede and Barrister Bimbo Bakare.

EbonyLife TV helmed by Mo Abudu was launched to fanfare in July 2013 and has been on air since then, with new, syndicated and exclusive local and international programming.

The trailblazing TV amazon gathered friends and well-wishers of the TV station in Calabar yesterday to celebrate their first anniversary.

Among the attendees were Obioma Liyel Imoke, first lady of Cross River State, Noble Igwe, Debola Williams, Mrs Victor-Okigbo, DJ Zeez and other presenters of the TV station.

President Goodluck Jonathan was photographed reading a book today by his assistant on publicity, Reuben Abati, who captioned the photots, #PresidentialReadingTime: President Jonathan perusing "Topics in West African History" by Adu Boahen #Random #ReadersareLeaders.

It's certainly good to read, but the book President Goodluck was reading must have been boring because he had fallen asleep by the final pictures. Or simply not into the book? I suggest someone gives him a copy of A Love Rekindled :)

Hard Working Actress, Uche Jombo On The Set Of New Movie In Dallas

Uche Jombo is not just having fun times while in the US to deliver her baby, the hardworking actress was photographed last week on the set of a new movie.

Uche was working on a project by Big Obi Media titled Weeping Ashes, and shooting in Dallas Texas. The movie will explore the phenomenon of Jungle Justice, and is scheduled for release later this year.

Other actors in the movie include  Kelechi Eke, Hillary Brooke, and musician Town Krier (above).

Alexandra Shipp Replaces Zendaya in Aaliyah Movie, Wendy Williams Named Executive Producer

The show must go on I guess. A new actress will now be playing the role of Aaliyah, in the Lifetime biopic about the late singer’s life. Nickelodeon actress Alexandra Shipp will replace singer/actress Zendaya, who quit earlier this month [read here].

The news was announced Friday, by Wendy Williams, who shared the news with her audience on the Wendy Williams Show, telling them;

Reality TV isn’t for everyone. According to some former reality stars, it’s the culprit to destroying healthy families and relationships. And now NBA baller Matt Barnes and his wife, Gloria Govan have spoken out about their own marriage suffered on Reality TV.

For 4 seasons, Gloria was a cast member on Basketball Wives Miami and the LA spin-off. The couple have now said their farewells to the VH1 show.

During his appearance on ‘Just Keke‘, Matt says that the show negatively affected his family.

Tina Campbell of the Mary Mary gospel duo put her troubled marriage to husband Teddy on their reality TV show as open book for fans and critics, and it seems to have worked out for them.

After a rough year of finding out about his infidelity with various other women while she was on the concert road, she says they have made it through, though not without difficulty.

In an interview with Sister 2 Sister, she shares that she still loves him and trusts him:

You want to know the truth? [laughs] All of my trust has come back. I love my husband more than I ever did. I am deeply in love with him. I was just talking to my brother-in-law last night because a lot of my family is even amazed with it. I don’t check on my husband. I don’t check his e-mails.

Jillian Michaels Left Biggest Loser Because of People Badmouthing Her to Her Daughter

Jillian Michaels has again left NBC's The Biggest Loser, after returning as a trainer for the last two seasons because "people have this warped negative perception" of her. 

The fitness guru says it's begun to infect her family life with her partner Heidi Rhoades and their children, 4-year-old daughter Lukensia and 2-year-old son Phoenix.

Michaels told the story of how she picked up her daughter from camp, and someone had told her, "I know who your mom is -- she's a cheater. I saw it on TV."
