Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas Taking Time Apart - Can Separation Heal a Marriage?
Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas have been married for almost 13 years, and today, they announced they are taking time apart to “evaluate and work on” their marriage. Reports say the couple have not filed for a divorce or legal separation, for now.
Yesterday also, we read Katherine Obiang's interview where she mentioned that she is not yet divorced from Frank Edohor. In their case however, they are probably slowly going through the process of divorce because she says there's likely no reconciliation on the cards for them.
Do you think separation is a viable option for helping an ailing marriage get back to its feet? Can time apart for a while enable couples get the distance necessary to work through their issues?

Awww, I hope they stay together. One of my favourite Hollywood couples! I pray that God intervenes in their marriage!
ReplyDeletethis is very sad indeed as I have loved how they have managed to fight the odds..and just when there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel, this!
ReplyDeleteI don't believe separation can heal an ailing marriage. Once the couple learn to live without each other, the union is done for. Why then should they come back together again?
Separation would only work in a few cases and only when there is no third party.
ReplyDeleteWe have seen from very few cases that separation can work, but more often, this is the beginning of the end. I hope these two can be among the positive outcomes.
