If you see any child crying on the road showing his/her address and asking you to take him/ her to that address, PLEASE DO NOT take them to that address, even if you know it's just round the corner. Rather take the child to the nearest police station. You can also ask her school address and take her there.
No matter what you do, don't go to a house address if that's what is written on the paper. It seems this is the new robbing and kidnapping tactic to snare good samaritans. PLEASE SHARE this information with your family and friends....do good, but be wise as you do it. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteNaija!!!! anything is possible. I must confess after watching Slumdog Millionaire, I've been a bit wary giving these kids money. Its a whole network. Attimes I wonder where did they even get the money to buy these windshield wipers and detergent. One day at a red traffic , I rolled down and decided to question these boys. I was shocked to find out that they pay a certain lady 200 naira every night to sleep in Mararaba. These kids attract our sentiments and handover the proceeds to some trafficker. Its sad.
