[Advice Corner] I am 25 and Never Had a Boyfriend, Am I Too Choosy?

Posted in: ,

Hello Myne, good morning, sure you had a pleasant night. Am a great fan of RML blog and a perfect follower on twitter. You've got a great work you do out there, God bless you! Please, I am a 25 years old christian lady from Ogun State, South West of Nigeria, and for the past years I haven't had a boyfriend.

Not that i choose not to have but I think I am being choosy because as God would have it, I am a comfortable Human Resource Assistant in a company where the pay is enough for me to do my upkeep and help siblings.

Also, the guys that have approached me in the past are either Muslims (which is a NO NO) or some talkative guys and I end up turning them to mere friends or walk away from them.

Please, I want to know if its because these guys see me as comfortable to approach or I am just thinking am getting old not to have a boyfriend.

Thanks and God bless

  1. I don't think a woman can ever be too choosy. It is best to be clear on what you want for your marriage before you begin to date seriously and determine not settle for less. But indeed, with your education fixed and a career on course, you are at the stage where if that is what you want, you need to start working on meeting someone to share your life with.

If you're not attracting the sort of men you desire, then you have to check everything about you. Are you dressing well? Where do you hangout? Who are your friends? Are you being social and hanging out enough? Because, truly, you have to put yourself out there.

Since you're a Christian, church is a good place to meet someone to your liking. The link below has other ideas.
