I saw this picture of a Norwegian footballer's wife, Caroline Berg Eriksen, said to be taken four days after she had her baby and my mouth dropped open. Caroline has a blog under the name 'Fotballfrue' or The Footballer's Wife which is connected to her instagram account where she posted the selfie, writing;
'I gave birth to the most beautiful baby girl yesterday, 10 minutes past 9 in the morning Her name is Nelia and she is perfect.'
Supposedly, this has made a lot of people angry and jealous. Jealous, I can understand, I wish I had that kind of abs, NOW, lol. But not sure about the outrage. The woman is a fitness blogger and must have kept crazy in shape while pregnant. And it seems she really was pregnant as seen in the pic below, unless it is all an elaborate hoax using protethics and an adopted baby.
Caroline posted a reply to Facebook about the criticisms, saying: 'I let out the picture because I'm proud of myself and my body for something as tough as a pregnancy / birth, and I think all mothers, regardless of the body shall be.'

When I gave birth to my first baby, my stomach went back flat almost immediately. That same day. I can say this is possible with first pregnancies especially for women who had very flat abs before pregnancy. If it's not her first, I don't know o.
ReplyDeletethe picture with her wearing black was her 4 days before she gave birth so i believe her. Like Eya said people with previously flat and strong abs get their bodies back immediately
ReplyDeleteMassa - at the end of the day who really cares. Not sure about objectifying women by posting their pictures and then judging them with an A to C grade to see if they are lying, or fine! Geez!

DeleteShe posted it to her instagram page...and that gives us a reason to repost it on a blog and judge whether she is lying or not? Does that really make sense to you? Who cares whether thats what she looks like or not - there is simply no value added!
DeleteThis don't seem normal to me, but what do I know. I find it odd though that four days after giving birth posting a full body selfie in a bikini would be something that would come to a mother's mind. Bringing life into this world is a spiritual act, and such a huge responsibility, that seeing something like this just leaves me feeling like we are going down a very dark road.
ReplyDeleteI don't mean to brag but my elder sister still looks the same after giving birth. She can even model for your page and u won't know she's a mother. She has never hit the gym before or known any exercise kits but she's HOT. I think it has to do with our body metabolism.
