When Apollo and Phaedra Parks were showing off their lavish lifestyle on The Real Housewives of Atlanta reality show, we all thought she was so lucky.
I wonder if she is regretting those expenses now? Some say she is considering divorce [read].
Apollo Nida was convicted of stealing close to $2.3 million in a bank fraud & identity theft ring, and sentenced to 8 years in prison. According to court documents he’ll also have to pay $1.9 million of the stolen funds as restitution.
TMZ reports that Apollo has to pay back several business and state governments which he stole from, including:
– JP Morgan Chase $828,300
– IRS $127,011
– Delta Airlines $24,985
– State of California $15,778
– State of Connecticut $45,525
– State of Texas $39,275
The list goes on.
If he and his wife share their assets together, which I think they do, then she is going to be doubly hit. Imagine losing your husband to jail and also having to shell out almost $2Million!
