Covers - Pregnant Zoe Saldana In LBD For Elle Magazine

Zoe Saldana is pregnant and fierce for her Elle magazine cover photoshoot for the November 2014 issue. The beautiful actress is expecting twins with her husband Marco Perego but you'll hardly notice in the black feathered halter-neck mini dress she's wearing on the cover. Her bump is more pronounced in the satin black gown she rocks for another shot.


Inside the magazine also, Zoe shares in an interview how growing up in the Dominican Republic influences her outlook on life and success. She also talks about her controversial role as the legendary singer in the Nina Simone biopic.

On playing Nina Simone;

“I actually encouraged Cynthia to cast someone else. But she came to me and said that everybody was afraid, and I thought, ‘S–t, then how can we complain that there aren’t enough films about African-American iconic figures?’”

On being born Domincan;

“That’s how those seven years my sisters and I spent on a bohemian island played very well. We’re not American in terms of feeding into that machine that you have to be somebody. We were somebody the moment we were born.”
