An paraplegic American man accused of sexually abusing Kenyan children and circulating the images online has been jailed for 50 years in Kenya, AP reports.
Terry Ray Krieger, 59, had earlier been arrested and charged with sexual abuse of minors and circulating child pornography between May 2013 and October 2014. He fled to Germany before he was arrested and brought back to face the law.
After first pleading not guilty Krieger was forced to admit his guilty when all charges against him were impossible to deny. He was sentenced to 50 years in jail today by a Kenyan court.
Magistrate Joseph Karanja delivered the sentence, describing Kreiger's actions as depraved and horrific. Karanja says Krieger robbed his victims of their childhood.
Krieger had previously served a 13-year jail term in the U.S. after on similar charges.
Krieger was found guilty of abusing a three-year-old boy and six- year-old girl who were his neighbors in Kenya. He then distributed the images.
