#ParisMarch #UnityMarch - I only just watched the SELMA movie yesterday so you can imagine how emotionally powerful I find these images of world leaders marching for liberty in Paris. David Cameron of United Kingdom, Angela Merkel of Germany, Isreal's Benjamin Netanyahu and others joined French president, Francois Hollande, and thousands of France nationals in a solidarity march on the streets of Paris this afternoon.
The march is to protest the killing of 12 people last wednesday including the top cartoonists for the Charlie Hebdo satirical magazine. The march began in Place de la République and will end at Place de la Nation. French officials estimate over 1.3 million people are gathered together in what will be one of the city’s biggest gatherings in decades. More pics below...
