Patrick Dempsey of Greys Anatomy Splits From Wife of 15 Years

There is McDreamy and then there's real life! Patrick Dempsey and Jillian Fink, his wife of 15 years have decided to go their separate ways. A rep for the couple confirm this to Us Weekly in a joint statement by the couple;

"It is with careful consideration and mutual respect that we have decided to end our marriage. Our primary concern remains the wellbeing of our children, and we ask with profound gratitude that you respect our family's privacy at this very sensitive time."

According to TMZ, the wife Jillian Fink was first to file for divorce from the Grey’s Anatomy actor, citing irreconcilable differences. She is seeking joint custody of their daughter Tallulah Fyfe, 12, and their 7-year-old twins Sullivan Patrick and Darby Galen.

Fink also reportedly wants spousal and child support. The couple, who wed in 1999, reportedly do not have a prenup and Dempsey is estimated to be worth $40 million.

Dempsey was previously married to Rocky Parker from 1987 to 1994.
