Adrienne Bailon, one of the co-hosts on Fox’s ‘The Real’, where the women share their personal lives, has just announced her engagement on the show! Adrienne got into a bit of a back and forth with the Kardashians soon after she joined the show last year when she opened up about her time dating their brother, Rob Kardashian. But that was 6 years ago and soon after they broke up, Adrienne started dating Lenny Santiago, her current fiance.
Adrienne surprised her fellow hosts Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, Tamar Braxton and Tamera Mowry with the engagement announcement in a segment where they're flipping through magazine pages looking for the latest news of Hollywood.
She says, “It’s not in here, you know why? Because no one knows.” When the others are confused, Adrienne raises her left hand to show off her diamond engagement ring, with the words, “I’m engaged!” Of course, they congratulate her and the audience gives her a big applause.
Adrienne goes on to share how Lenny Santiago proposed to her during a dinner with her family.
After declaring his love to Adrienne in front of the family, Lenny gave a box of carrots to her. “Was this like the harvest of our love?” Adrienne joked but expressed her appreciation and love for the carrots.
Lenny then told her, “Well, since you said yes to those carrots…,” before getting on his knee to propose to her with a gorgeous ring.
Adrienne posted on social media right after the engagement: “YES! @kodaklens I will soon be Mrs. Lenny S.”
