Stella Damasus Asks Women Married To Cheating Men - Will You Give Him Condoms?

Most of us have heard this anecdote before, and it has probably been inserted in a few Nollywood movies. Actress Stella Damasus brought it up again on on her Instagram page

‘A faithful Christian wife who knows that her husband is very unfaithful, decides to put a pack of condoms in her husband’s suitcase. She claims that it was to protect her health. The woman also says that she was raised never to leave her marriage no matter what and so since he will not stop cheating, she has to find a way to deal with it, as she has tried everything else. As a woman would you do that? And as a man, would you advice that?’

The Condom Cookbook - A Food Recipe Book To Promote Safe Sex

The book is called Condom Meals I Want To Make For You and is reported to contain 11 food recipes based around condoms, mostly using the contraceptive for presentation. The food recipes have names like “Condom Meat Stuffing”, “Condom Escargot (snails) Cooked with Butter” and “Condom Cookies” and each is supposed to be utterly delicious.

You may find this funny or wacky, but there's a serious side. Japanese men are said to be the third worst in the world when it comes to using condoms, and so the book was also created to help promote safe sex. The book aims to show that condoms can be very strong and durable and this I think is a good novelty way to spread a serious message.

New Condom Invented That Covers Just Erection Tip Leaving Shaft Exposed

A new condom has been invented by American Charles Powell, which he says is stronger, safer and enables better sensitivity. And the new condom is called the Galactic Cap Condom or Penis Helmet. The new condom sits only on the very tip of the erect penis, which leaves the shaft exposed for those who complain of the lack of sensitivity with regular condoms.

No Condoms, No Sex

One of the decisions any one who is sexually active has to make is what to use for protection against STIs and pregnancy. Condom is usually the simplest choice, though sometimes a few people allow either embarassment or shame prevent them from stocking up. The women think it's for the men to sort out, after all, they want sex more and will be the ones to use the condom. The men leave it for the women to take care of, after all they're the ones who'll get pregnant, right? At the end no one has a condom and it is time to do the do, what happens then?

Damiel Ademinokan has produced this wonderful short film titled No Jersey, No Match on this issue. One thing I appreciate is when a thematic movie uses very creative story telling to pass its message rather than have someone talking like they're on a pulpit. In that sense, this movie is one of the best didactic short films I've seen, perfectly scored, good acting, good writing, all the good stuff.
