E! host Giuliana Rancic has apologized to Disney actress Zendaya Coleman after comments the presenter made about the teenage star's hairstyle at the Oscars backfired. The E! presenter said Zendaya looked like she smelled like weed while critiquing Zendaya's Oscar red carpet look and faux dread locks during Fashion Police Oscar episode.

Guiliana told the panel "Zendaya looks like she “smells like patchouli oil… or maybe weed.” Since the comments aired yesterday, many on social media called out the previously beloved host. On twitter, many posited that the comment was racially insensitive. Just yesterday, Khloe Kardashian debuted her braided cornrows [here] and it got me thinking about hairstyles for my natural hair. I could do cornrows easily when my hair was longer but now it's just growing out of the TWA, easy look hairstyles are harder to come by.

I spend a good amount of time searching for natural hair styles online, and often I leave my hair as wash and go. I have toyed around with the idea of cutting it again, but I'm not ready yet.

Khloe Kardashian's new hairstyle of braided cornrows is coming amidst talks that she is about to get back with estranged husband Lamar Odom after breakup with French Montana.

Khloe's five year wedding anniversary to Lamar Odom falls on September 27, and there are several reports their divorce proceedings are at a standstill after he refused to sign the papers

Khloe has worn cornrows before, but only on one side of her head in June 2013 while still married to Lamar. As far as reconciliation goes, sources report that Lamar is very interested.

'[The split with French] makes it that much easier for him to get back with her and be her husband. He wasn't too fond of that rapper anyway and thought he was a sucker - Khloé's rebound man!'

US Navy Dismisses African-American Woman For Refusing To Cut Her Natural Hair

This week, the Navy announced that it was discharging Jessica Sims, who been a sailor for 12-years, for “failing to obey an order to cut off her natural hairstyle.”

The military has been under scrutiny for guidelines issued in March that critics believe were discriminatory toward African-American women. Those regulations;

“specifically forbid several hairstyles popular for black women who keep their hair natural, including twists, headbands, dreadlocks, or multiple braids that are larger than a quarter-inch.” 

A former U.S. Army Major sharply criticized the regulations, noting they targeted “natural styles African American service women have been wearing for years.”

Kim Kardashian has denied in the past that she had experience massive hair loss since giving birth to baby Nori, and then losing weight so rapidly, but in pictures she shared on Instagram today, she reveals her extension tracks for the first time.

Back in January, photos surfaced with Kim’s hair looking visibly thinner, but her spokesperson told the Daily Mail: “she doesn’t even wear extensions”.

Stella Damasus is currently on an acting hiatus from Nollywood and is focusing on some other projects with friend and director Daniel Ademinokan.

Stella Damasus is more commonly known to use curly and bigger weaves, but she debuted this sleek look on her social media pages. The actress sure looks great and I think the new hair and makes her look younger. And she made the wig herself too - " I am not perfect yet but working on it seriously. " she said.

Ciara's fiance Future was the first to tease her new dread-locked look when he posted a picture on social media of Ciara carrying their new born son Baby Future last month. The elder Future has been wearing the dreadlocked style for some time now.

Ciara who gave birth to her first child with rapper Future on May 19th, premiered her blonde and brunette dreadlocks on Instagram, possibly inspired by her fiancé. 

She shared several pictures that show off the dreads in their full glory with the caption, “Attitude.” In another picture where she posed in a Calvin Klein “Obsession” sweatshirt, she captioned it, “Back 2 Work and Im Obsessed…:)”
