Tyler Perry and Gelila Bekele celebrated the christening of their son, Aman Tyler Bekele-Perry last Sunday and the movie maker is full of thanks, writing on Facebook;

What a special day. Thank you Oprah, Oliver, and Cicely. I know my son has great Godparents. To be born in love is a beautiful thing.

Tyler and Gelila decided to name Cicely Tyson, Oprah Winfrey and Oliver Ripley as little Aman’s godparents. The ceremony was held in the backyard of Perry’s Beverly Hills home inside of a custom-built church. You can see the photos he shared from the event below...

Tyler Perry Reportedly Welcomes Baby Boy With Gelila Bekele - His First Child

Several websites are reporting that Tyler Perry and girlfriend Gelila Bekele welcomed their baby boy a few days ago. Tyler Perry is reported to have announced he's expecting his first child back in September on his 45th birthday bash. Though he never confirmed, many pointed at his pregnant former girlfriend and Ethopian model Gelila as being the mother of his baby.

The rumors of the birth are based on Gelila's sister who created multiple posts on social media that stated, "I have met the love of my life; I'm on a natural high and don't plan on coming down anytime soon; that clean baby scent; just up taking care of my nephew."

Tyler Perry announced at his 45th birthday, click to see pics, that he was expecting to be a father soon. Though he did not state who the baby's mother is, people are speculating that it could be his 28 year old Ethiopian on-again/off-again model/activist girlfriend, Gelila Bekele.

And indeed Gelila is pregnant. The news was confirmed by a friend of hers that posted a photo with the beauty a month ago, revealing in the comments:

Tyler Perry Announces He's Expecting First Child At 45th Birthday

Movie director and playwright Tyler Perry is said to be expecting a child. Mr. Perry reportedly made the announcement during his 45th birthday party last weekend.
Coincidentally, last year, Tyler Perry told Steve Harvey that the one thing he hasn’t accomplished yet, and wishes to accomplish by age 45, was fatherhood.

More than anything I think that it’s fatherhood. I know I would be a great father. I don’t want to work this hard. I don’t want to have all of this and not leave it to my children. I also know that as hard as I’m working, doing twenty hours per day, now is not the time. Right now I’m enjoying what I’m doing. I’m enjoying the work. I’m enjoying being a bachelor, so eventually I’ll get there.

... I’m 43, so two more years. By 45 you know who the hell you are, right? You’ve really settled in at 45 so I think two more years.

Tyler Perry Wins 'What Would Jesus Do' Trademark From Woman Who Says He Stole It From Her

Tyler Perry has reportedly won the patent to use "What would Jesus do?" in in a suit filed by another applicant who wanted to patent the popular phrase.

Reality star Kimberly “Poprah” Kearney had registered the trademark in 2008, several months before Perry did. Kearney had it trademarked to use as the title for a reality show, and claims she was developing a reality series with the title, but has got no backers.

According to THR, she says she had submitted the idea to Tyler Perry Studios in 2007 for backing, and alleges that Perry and his lawyers essentially stole the phrase from her but Tyler Perry Studios challenged her claim due to lack of use, and registered theirs later the same year.

Date Night Movie Review - Tyler Perry's Temptation

Tyler Perry's Temptation follows the life of a newly married couple, Judith and Brice. Judith works at a matchmaking firm; Brice is a pharmacist. Things are just about OK with them, but one day Judith has to work with Harley, a very rich entrepreneur. Harley makes it clear that he is very interested in her, and she begins to wonder whether she's really getting all she wants from her relationship with Brice.

Myne's Review - I know this review is coming so late, but it's been very busy around these parts. I gave a quasi review in this post earlier about a particular sex scene in the movie. I wasn't a big fan of the movie, I have to confess, and preferred Good Deeds over it. But Temptation had its good sides. Kim Kardashian played a version of herself named Ava, and she was actually pretty good.

Vanessa Williams lit the room whenever she appeared on screen, and she had a funny French accent though she lost it quickly enough when circumstances called for it. The other actors were just OK, but they were all very good looking people, Lance Gross almost set the screen on fire in one of his bathroom scenes, black is beautiful o :)

Atala's review - When I saw the trailer for "Tyler Perry's Temptation", I was quite eager to watch the movie, because the theme of personal conflict appealed very much to me. Also, I quite liked Tyler Perry's "Good Deeds", so I thought I would enjoy this too.
