Looking fabulous on the cover, Lupita goes on in the inside story to talk seriously about her family, and how she got the role of Patsey in 12 Years a Slave. She also confirmed she's dating Somali-born rapper K’naan, when she spoke about getting involved with him in African activism. An excerpt and more photos from the shoot below...

She keeps her private life just that. “The safest thing is when I’m indoors in my world,” she says, which for the moment is an apartment in Brooklyn. When she isn’t cooking at home (“I like to cook whole fish. And I make some mean salads”), she is enjoying the borough’s unpretentious restaurants and bars.

Daddy Time - Stylish Prince William Carrying Dapper Son Prince George

Prince William has been a father now for almost a year, ever since he and Kate Middleton emerged from the Hospital in London last July to introduce the world to their baby son, Prince George. Since then, the young family have been mostly out of the public eye, except to when Will and Kate travelled on official purposes to Australia and New Zealand.

The trip gave the opportunities to see pictures of William's hands on parenting of Prince George, and also a look at the baby's clothes. Aren't they cute? Like father like son :)

The video for Toh Bad by Niyola is one I'm just seeing, and only because it was directed by Kemi Adetiba. I've become interested in her work recently. She did a great job here, Toh Bad is a lovely song, and the video quality is good.

I wish I understood more of what the song is saying but from the story line, it seems to be about when ladies date celebrities in real life. I don't really like the conclusion, but you decide.

Sister Narrates How Kidnapped Girls Returned Untouched and Unhurt 10 Days After

Ejura and Unekwu Opaluwa were abducted by five gunmen on the 8 June from their house in Karmo, Abuja. The gunmen had carried out a robbery attack on the family and were said to be dissatisfied with the amount of money found and thus abducted the girls. Their abductors had first asked for a N200 million ransom but they later called the family and reduced it to N150 million.

The news of the return of the girls, 23-year-old Ejura Opaluwa and 19-year-old Unekwu Opaluwa, was announced by the family on Tuesday. The girls were said to have been abandoned by their captors at a location from where they found their way home on Tuesday.

An uncle of the abducted sisters, Amadi Opaluwa, who made the news did not disclose whether the family paid ransom in the amount of N150m or not, he thanked God for safe return of the girls, and said the family intended to hold a press conference the following day.
