Hi Myne, I've been reading your blog for a long time and have turned to it for relationship advice now and again. Being a Nigerian-American woman married to a Nigerian man (whom I love very dearly), I can't say American relationship advice often applies to our situation, especially now that our lives have fallen into a bleak valley.

In just three months, I lost my job (I'm the breadwinner) and discovered I was pregnant with our second child. My husband adores our 1st child (1-yr old), but when he heard my news, he demanded I have an abortion. He refuses to hear anything else and says I'm selfish to keep the baby. That I only do what I want.

My religious belief forbids abortion, but more than that, I'm a young mother who knows that this child will not ruin our lives. He won't hear of anymore kids until, he says, we're financially set, by that he means wealthy. He'd have me have multiple abortions until he deemed the time right for a child.

The official video for DOROBUCCI is possibly the most confused of all music videos I'd ever seen in my entire life! Must each singer have a separate storyline and screen time? There is only 4 mins to play withm, and there are like how many of them? 10? OK, there are just 7 of them. Still.

Also, making each singer have their own lines and drama kinda shouts to me that they can't work together or harmonize. If that is the case, why even make a song with all of them contributing?

Oh well, I didn't like the song from the beginning, and I'm afraid the video - as flashy as it is with light skinned women and wads of cash flying about - has not changed that.

Husband Wants A Divorce Yet He Had Sex With Wife The Morning Of Their Divorce Trial?

A housewife, Mariam Jimoh, has rejected a divorce suit instituted against her by her husband, Sunday Jimoh, on Monday, 21 July, at a Customary Court in Lagos.

Mariam was taken to court by her husband who is from Oyo State, seeking for the dissolution of their 10-year old marriage which has produced 2 children.

The mother of two insisted that her husband still loves her as they are still living together in the same apartment, sleeping together in the same bed and making love regularly as husband and wife.

In fact, she says, the man had sex with her first thing that Sunday “early morning” before they came to court for trial!

General Mohammadu Buhari, former head of state of Nigeria narrowly escaped death yesterday in Kaduna, and some political commentators have asked how much of a coincidence it is that the attack is coming just days after Buhari and President Jonathan, as well as their respective political parties, exchanged some bitter political ripostes?

I never like it when people make deaths and sad situations political, taking away from lost lives of real human beings, and families mourning their own.

But in answer to such doubters, can we focus on the almost 100 dead and scores more in hospital?
