Celebrities Go Retro For Lagos Premiere Of Kunle Afolayan’s 'October 1' Movie
Kunle Afolayan, the cast, crew and selected guests turned out in retro styles at the world premiere of the “October 1” movie in Lagos last night! The movie will be in cinemas on the 1st of October 2014.
Dress code for the event was ’60s style, though some of the celebs simply did the old school look with seventies and eighties afros. Some of the guests include Genevieve Nnaji, Ramsey Nouah, Deola Sagoe, Sadiq Daba, Wale Ojo, Funke Akindele, Segun Arinze, Dakore Akande alongside the movie’s international cast and crew.

Pastor Anita Oyakhilome Removed from Current Edition of Rhapsody of Realities
One of the outward unity between Pastor Chris and Anita, even though they both lived miles apart, was the church's monthly devotional, Rhapsody of Realities, which the couple have co-authored over the years. Pastor Chris and Anita Oyakhilome are currently embroiled in a court case as they go through their divorce, and another casualty of the split between the couple has emerged.
Available copies of the devotional show that Anita’s name has been removed from the October edition of the Christ Embassy ROR. The new front and back cover of the new edition is shown above.

Grieving Husband Cries Out For Missing Wife After Collapse of Synagogue Church Building
The collapse of the SCOAN building claimed about 115 lives, but while many are mourning their dead, a few are still searching for their loved ones. Among them is a Nigerian from Kogi State who has yet to find his wife of 18 years, Veronica (39). A worker in the laundry department of the Synagogue church, he pleaded anonymity because th church had warned members not to disclose any information on the tragedy to the public.
He said he waits by the phone with his five children everyday expecting a call that would say her body had been found after many days of searching 16 hospitals. He showed a list containing the 16 hospitals he had visited with each one ticked with a pen to indicate he had been there and found nothing.
