Buhari Says He Will Not Islamize Nigeria In Speech To Catholic Bishops

Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the APC presidential and vice presidential candidates, met with some Catholic Bishops in Abuja yesterday February 10th.

Speaking during the meeting, Buhari said he had no personal religious agenda and as a practicing Muslim, he doesn't share the views of any extremist group. More pics and his speech at the event below...

#ChapelHillShooting - Police have arrested Craig Stephen Hicks, 46, and charged him with the murder of three Muslim students at an apartment near the Chapel Hill campus at the University of North Carolina. The three victims are Deah Shaddy Barakat, 23; Yusor Mohammad, 21; and Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19. Barakat and Yusor Mohammad had been married for just one month; Razan Abu-Salha was Yusor's sister. All three had been shot in the head, and all were students.

Shortly after the shootings, Hicks turned himself into police, however, authorities aren’t yet saying what the shooter's motivation may have been.

Texas College Baller Kills Kik Buddy After Finding Out She Was a Man

Texas College football player Carlton Ray Champion Jr. has been charged with the murder of 24yr old transgender woman, Ty Underwood, who was killed on Jan. 26th. Police first caught a break in the case when Ty's roommate, Kedrick Darks, told police Underwood had been dating a man named “Carlton” for several weeks prior to her death.

Police say they interviewed Champion, who confirmed that he had been communicating via a service called “Kik” with Underwood, who was going by “Tyra” on the service. They were able to search Champion’s tablet computer and allegedly discovered communications between Champion and Underwood dating back to January 19, 2015.

Bobby Brown Releases Statement On Bobbi Kristina Being Taken Off Life Support Tomorrow

There was an earlier report today which I posted about the family of Bobbi Kristina Brown agreeing to remove her from life support tomorrow to coincide with the third anniversary of her mother's death. However,  the Brown family has now released an official statement on the comatose 21-year-old, rejecting the initial reports that she will be let go tomorrow, Feb. 11, being the third anniversary of Whitney Houston's death.

Bobbi Kristina is the only daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown and has been hospitalized since last week Saturday when she was found unresponsive and face down in a filled bathtub in her home. This latest statement doesn't reveal anything specific about Bobbi's current condition, whether she's getting better or not.
