Humans Of New York Blogger Raises Almost $1Million For School Kids To Visit Harvard

An inner city kid talking to, and allowing his photo to be taken and shared by Brandon Stanton of Humans of New York had led to something amazing. The teenager opened up about his Principal Ms Lopez being his greatest influence and talked about the wonderful things she was doing for Mott Halls Bridges Academy.

The photographer decided to make a call to his HONY followers to fund children in this school to pay a visit to Harvard as a way to expose them to better opportunities and reward the principal. The fundraiser started on 23 January, and as today, they have raised almost $1 Million in less than a week!

A woman has been arrested for slashing the throats of her two-year-old daughter and six-month-old twins. The woman said she tried to kill the crying children so they wouldn’t disturb her husband.

29-year-old Romanian man, Seb Ciercies, tried to sell his virginity for 850 Euros in order to settle his mounting debts but received not one single offer. He had put the advertisement in the local newspaper, describing himself in a as 'Athletic, toned and dark-haired'. He wrote:

'Man, 29, Brasov. Athletic and toned, dark haired. I'm selling my virginity. Price: 850 Euros. Transport not included.'

Mr Ciercies says it's been weeks since the ad was placed and he was shocked he got nobody calling to take him up on his offer. Seb took out the ad to pay off debts he has run up through unemployment and having to care for his diabetic brother. Wanting to expand his chances of getting a client, he did not specify whether buyers should be male or female. Yet, no one called.

Yesterday on an E interview, Kim Kardashian said of Bruce Jenner, that he was on a journey which he'll talk about when he's ready.
