Yoruba Doctor Backs Down & Apologises For Comments Urging Igbo Massacre

In response to an ongoing petition against him by the Nigeria Moment group, Adeniran Abraham Ariyo, a US based Yoruba doctor has released a statement apologising for his comments supporting the Oba of Lagos. In comments made on Facebook before the Nigerian gubernatorial elections, the cardiologist had championed a scenario where the Igbos in Lagos and elsewhere are massacred for seeking political influence based on their financial and business success. Bruce Jenner will be on ABC this Friday to talk about is his transitioning journey to becoming a woman, and it seems the paparazzi want to get an exclusive before then. These new photos, have reportedly been gotten illegally by paparazzi, who camped out on a hill close to the former Kardashian-Jenner clan patriach's home in Malibu, California.

The new photos show Bruce Jenner wearing a maxi dress with horizontal stripes and a slit up the side. He is also smoking a cigarette and has his long hair, which is usually in a pony tail, let down. In the photos he seemed unaware of the cameras clicking away at first and when he realized he was being photographed he turned his back to the paparazzi.

Before the governorship elections earlier this month, the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, made some remarks to visiting Igbo leaders in Lagos, threatening the lives of Igbos if they did not vote according to his wishes. This led to an online tribal storm as Yorubas and Igbos squared off against each other.

At that time, a Texas based cardiologist, Adeniran Abraham Ariyo, shared Oba Akiolu's post with accompanying comments that seemed to promote the slaughter of Igbo people in Lagos, like the xenophobic attacks currently going on in South Africa. He also added that they would get the same treatment in Abuja because of how they felt their business success should lead to political influence.
