Hummmm... Love is a choice, I don't think It's a feeling or an emotion.True love is a conscious effort to select someone elses happiness over yours. The sinking feeling of euphoria at the start of a relationship is by no means unique, it can be felt with anyone, and I don't think that is love. The protectiveness+joy+happiness+.....that you feel when you truly care about someone is however very unique.
