L is for Love

Posted in:

Of course, LOL...

Wait a minute though, what is love? How will you describe love?

Is it a feeling or an action?
Is it to love or to be in love?
Can one do without love?
A cool love or a fast love?
Which is the better love?
Why do we even love?
When does love start?
Where does love end?
Have you ever loved?

Over to you...

  2. hmm, when the heart beats faster and eyes are bright could be a real big infatuation. When yhu are weak yet yhu feel so strong sounds more like it.
Love is when yhu forgive against all odds,Love is GOD and GOD is love.
Love is what I'm feeling now :-D

  4. To say so much yet without uttering a word,
to be right there even when the world runs away,
to feel so close when you're millions of miles away

  6. Love is patient and kind

I however will not do love without the passion and whatnots.

Else i better be marrying a billionaire i feel nothing for, then i might not might just learning to love.

What am i saying? I don't do half measures, i want what Abraham and Sarah had, what had Solomon writing sonnets, nothing ordinary will do for me.

    No acting either!

  9. Hummmm... Love is a choice, I don't think It's a feeling or an emotion.True love is a conscious effort to select someone elses happiness over yours. The sinking feeling of euphoria at the start of a relationship is by no means unique, it can be felt with anyone, and I don't think that is love. The protectiveness+joy+happiness+.....that you feel when you truly care about someone is however very unique.

  10. Before I clicked on your site, I just knew what your L post would be. Love reading your when's and to's. I knew I was in love when my spine started to tingle at our first touch. It still does after more than 30 years!

  11. Coincidentally, I wrote a note on love on facebook today and seeing this now. lol

Love is more than just a feeling - it has action loadedly (permit my english) embedded in it! No one can do without love ma. It is the very essence of living. When we see no love around, we are as good as gone. Love has no end. It begins with attraction and thrives on a willful commitment...
Oh, I love the feeling of love.

    My own answers ma.

  14. Love is a doing word!!!
I always test any love I profess with 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. If I cant love you that way, then forget all the heady feeling.
