One of the things that make a wedding day the most fun for a young couple is their friends and bridal party. It is so important to have really good friends on your train; people you can really have fun with, as this will make all the difference once the DJ starts playing. Besides that, they will be on hand for you all day making sure you are happy, comfortable and well taken care of.


For some cultural weddings, where money is involved, they often stand around for hours collecting monetary gifts on the couple’s behalf. These special people definitely deserve some kind of thank you. There are so many ways to say thank you and here are just a few ideas.

A ‘Thank You’ party after the Honeymoon

Weather permitting this could be a barbeque at the newlyweds home, where the bridal party and friends gather to have a good time and relive wedding memories.

Jewellery

For women especially, nothing says thank you like Jewellery. From a simple silver necklace or bracelet to Tiffany & Co if your budget allows.

Smellies

Women love things that smell nice. So anything from smelling baths salts and creams to pretty sets of scented candles and pot pouri.

Experience days

Although more expensive, this can be great and personal to each person e.g. if you know one of your groomsmen likes fast cars, a few laps in a sports car would be great. If you know one you’re your bridesmaids is an adrenalin junkie, why not pay for them to do a bungee jump. The key is to think about what each person enjoys doing.

Video Messages

For the newlyweds that like more homemade/DIY gift ideas, why not record a video clip for each member of your train where you speak directly to them thanking them. Make it fun, personal, emotional, themed, silly…its completely up to you.
