What Not to Do On A First Date
When singles decide to go out on a first date together after being introduced, or meeting online, they usually have a lot of questions. Not just for each other, but about what might be expected of them. How should they dress, should they offer to split the bill, for the ladies, or should they ask the lady to split, for the guys. Also are issues about what to talk about, be fashionably late, etc. And then there's the elephant in the room, go for sex on the first date or not?
HowAboutWe dating website conducted a survey of singles on their site and reported on the “Top 10 Worst First Date No-Nos,” as;
1. Having your phone out or texting
2. First date sex
3. Talking about your ex
4. Being late (more than 15 minutes)
5. Being rude (to a server)
6. Drinking too much
7. Splitting the bill or letting the woman pay
8. Work talk
9. Mother talk
10. Talking about marriage
A few others from the report were:
- Bad breath
- Not tipping well
- Talking about yourself too much
- Being “fake” or not being yourself
- Smoking
What else will you add to the list?

They are very good rules but there are no experts in matters of the heart cos we don't all want the same thing in life.

Playing with your phone while on a date is def a no no.
ReplyDeleteSplitting or letting me pay...hmmm...if its a date that is not going on well...I won't mind splitting cos that's my 'kiss of death' - I'm officially saying 'I don't owe you' lol.
But if I'm liking the date and he says lets split I'm going to be velly disappointed.
