His Royal Highness, the Prince of Cambridge now has a name. Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, chose the name George Alexander Louis, ending speculation over what their baby's name would be.
Kensington Palace said the royals are “delighted to announce” their son’s name, adding that the infant prince, third-in-line to the throne, will be known as “His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.”
Six previous British kings have been named George, and the name was a favourite of British bookmakers in the run-up to Wednesday’s announcement. [AP]

Not surprised about the George. Like you said, it was a top contender by the press. Alexander? Nice one though!
