She uses the more common "domestic and homely" examples like cooking, cleaning, and no-clubbing which some Nigerian men and women seem to think is the be all and end all of what makes a woman a wife. Lol. quite hilarious. But Myne, she is not far from the truth, I mean you should not overhaul yourself to please a man. Any man that truly loves you will def accept u for who u really are. I don't subscribe to a lady doing all those wifey stuffs for a guy that has not even proposed and even if he has proposed, the babe should apply her discretion and not over do things. Abeg I no fit shout.

ReplyDeleteI agree with her, women should be themselves. If a man doesnt like who you are he should step aside. Hypocrisy seems to run deep in Nigeria. I for one would prefer a lady who does go clubbing occasionally since I do as well. That you go clubbing doesnt mean you're promiscuous or a drunkard.

ReplyDeleteI know a few stay at home moms who are barely at home! They're always out and about doing either exciting, or fun activities with their kids. Having said that, I think wives or moms are entitled to 'time out' so they don't get burn out, we should still be able to enjoy things that wouldn't involve family or kids. Of course I love my kids and they're my world, but a once in a month spa treatment would really help ;)(or a night out with friends)
